SeaWorld Welcomes Its Last Orca Born In Captivity

The orca Takara gave birth to a calf Wednesday at the SeaWorld park in San Antonio, Texas. SeaWorld announced last year that it was ending its breeding program.
Takara gave birth to her as-yet-unnamed calf on Wednesday afternoon at SeaWorld San Antonio.

At 3:33 p.m. ET on Wednesday, SeaWorld welcomed its last orca born in captivity.
