    NASA’s first-ever mission to study the deep interior of Mars is scheduled to launch this week. Mars Insight is the first planetary mission to take off from the West Coast of the United States.

    Six years after last landing on Mars, NASA is sending a robotic geologist to dig deeper than ever before to take the planet’s temperature.
