Since the dawn of the 21st century, there have been six different Spider-Manmovies, and that’s not including a spate of spin-offs, franchise crossovers, and already planned sequels. Three talented actors (Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland) have played the role, making the web-slinging superhero this generation’s James Bond—a mantle solemnly passed from handsome 20-something to handsome 20-something.
