About this audiobook
Sharon Osbourne has lived, in her own words, "50 lives in 50 years". As the daughter of notorious rock manager Don Arden, Sharon's childhood was a chaotic mix of glamour and violence, one week touring with Little Richard and Jayne Mansfield, the next meeting the Animals and Electric Light Orchestra. In her late 20s, after years of fierce loyalty to her ruthless father, who had betrayed her many times, Sharon finally made the painful decision to break with her family.
She found her soul mate in rock star Ozzy Osbourne, turning his career around and becoming a legendary manager and rock promoter in her own right. But Ozzy's drug-taking and drinking fuelled excesses, which culminated in an attempt to strangle her, making their marriage a white-knuckle ride from the start. Only her devotion to their three children gave her the will to survive.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5What I learned is that Sharon called the kettle black.:) Ozzy was married and she did not want to let go.
Even though I am not a fan of her I did enjoy reading this book very much.
It is interesting to hear more about the music world back in the days. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sharon is such an amazing woman. This book inspired me.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great story.. I love her journey..Looking forward to another book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Sharon is such a hard ass survivor. As a three time cancer survivor, I admire her.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Self-pity festival.
Here is a woman who only thought about money, success and jewels. Never had any ethical considerations about anything in her life. A predator who just took whatever she could from whoever she met. Maybe a flaw inherited from her psychopath father.
Two-stars for the honesty. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Big Sharon Osbourne fan. Interesting to step into someone else's life. Truth to the saying; Don't judge a book by its cover.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book gives us a great look at the true story of one of the most interesting woman in the rock music world. Sharon gives so many details behind the stories we have heard and shares so many more that we've never known before. I look forward to more coming from the life of this remarkable manager, mother, and wife. I feel privileged that Sharon decided to share her story with us! Thank you Sharon!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have loved Ozzy Osbourne since I was a teen going to see him in concert in 1985. I've followed his entire career and am an avid fan of everything he does. As the the saying goes, behind every great man is an even greater woman, as is the case with Sharon. This book was satisfying on every level. I loved learning new things about the Osbourne's and Sharon herself. She's an amazing woman who has been through it all and who lives, laughs, and loves hard! A must read for all rock and roll fans!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I'm afraid I've never had any respect for Ozzy Osbourne due to the infamous bat and dove incidents, so it's with a great deal of surprise that I have to admit I really enjoyed this book. (Same as I actually enjoyed "The Osbourne's" despite not wanting to...)But I don't know why exactly? After all it's filled with alcoholism, drug addiction, abusive men and above all a very abusive main relationship between Ozzy and Sharon. It's hard for me to see how they have risen above that to have the relationship they seemingly have now. I think I would find it near impossible to love someone who constantly cheated on me, punched and hit me, broke my teeth and of course tried to strangle me to death! Maybe it works because they are as bad as each other!Still I did enjoy it, found it a book I couldn't put down and ended up giving a 4 star rating to...go figure....

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I'm not sure what I was expecting with this book, but I found it deeply sad. Sharon's entire life has been completely dysfunctional, and it's surprising that she and Ozzy have come through OK today. Sharon is definitely not without blame in all of her troubles, and her extreme and sometimes violent behavior contributed in a large part to the unhappy events of her life. I'm also not sure I can understand the type of marriage she has found with Ozzy, but I am glad it has worked for her.
