About this audiobook

Jude Deveraux plunges a modern-day woman into the mysteries of the past – where an enchanting love awaits.

Bestselling romance writer Hayden Lane has found her soul mate – or rather, created him: he’s her latest fictional hero. And she’s totally obsessed with him. Barely noticing when her real-life fiancé breaks their engagement, she visits a psychic to learn more about him – and is told that in a past life Hayden was Lady de Grey, a promiscuous woman of Edwardian England. Hayden can’t resist submitting to a hypnotist’s magic. But the trick goes wrong, and instead of merely remembering her past as Lady de Grey, Hayden is living it. Now she will discover quite a different story about a woman history considered a trollop, a spectacular, brooding man, and the rapturous love that would be hers if she dared open her heart to the most mysterious adventure of all.

This is my fave romance book of all time. This is my first time listening to it and I am so sad that this is abridged AND that no where on here does it tell you that. It left out soooo much of this beloved story that so many important parts were just gone. Please anyone hearing this for the first time please read the book. It's so much better and beautiful and worth it.

If you check out my read list, you'll see that I'm a huge JD fan. This is another winner! I LOVE books about reincarnation and that combined with the excellent quality of the writing made this a fave. The characters are intelligent, witty, and easy to relate to. I thought about this for a couple of days after I finished it and have recommended it to friends. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this one!

A writer seeks out a psychic to research a new novel. She finds out that she had lived before, and that is when things start to get interesting.

Every book Jude Deeraux writes seems to have a different theme. Each book is a pleasant adventure. Loved the way the book started then went wild in a great way.

I don't even know what to say about this one. I'm giving it 4 stars because out of all its oddity, I couldn't put it down. It was weird but good. It rambled at times but kept me engrossed. There was a constant feeling of doom and much treachery and misunderstandings. I truly hated some of the characters. I kept waiting for the happy ending and in one regard there was one and in another, there wasn't. There was tragedy and, whoa, the ending was quite odd and sucked. The premise of living past lives was different. Huh. Is that what deja vu is all about? Did I totally do this once before in another life? Did I read a similar book to this 2 lifetimes ago? Did I like it then or think it was weird too? If living past lives in which, perhaps, something undone in the past effects the present, it got me wondering if the jackass I divorced will no longer haunt me in another life. One can only hope.

A rather exhausting book, so filled with angst that I honestly don't know if I liked it or hated it. The story is very compelling, yes, and difficult to put down. But I can't say that at any point I enjoyed reading it. Everything was so tragic and uncomfortable ... not at all what I'm looking for when sitting down with a romance novel.

I love time travels and this one was unusual as more than one "back in time" takes place. The character is a romance writer which makes reading the book even more interesting. Story becomes quite suspenseful, it's not always a happy circumstance which I like so you can not predicit the story BUT I will say the ending left me flat. Will not give it away but there was so much more I would have preferred happen than the quick close and unrealistic ending.

CR 1994; the historical time travelling plot going back into the 16th and the 19th century make this love story endurable and pretty good to read. I've tried another of her stories but to no avail, if one is not really a fan of romance.

I loved this book. You do not have to be a fan of romance novels to appreciate this book. I feel that Remembrance belongs in the general fiction catagory more than it does in the romance section. This is not to say that Remembrance is not a love story; it is. It is more than just a love story though. Remembrance is a grand, sweeping saga about two people meant to be together who are trying to find each other throughout eternity and includes all the heartache and hardship each one encounters throughout the ages. This story includes love, lust, betrayal, jealousy, and time travel. I could not put this book down.
