About this audiobook

A Life-Changing New Audiobook From The Author Of The New York Times Bestseller, The Power Of Now.

In this original audiobook, bestselling author Eckhart Tolle continues to teach us how to let go of the past and future to live in the now. Tolle urges to shed our mind-based sense of self, enter the portals of the eternal present, and live vividly in the present moment.
He guides us through these gateways: The Gateway of the Inner Body; The gateway of Silence; and The Gateway of Accepting This Moment. By moving through these openings, we will let the power of now transform our lives and achieve spiritual and psychological enlightenment.
Gateways to Now includes a Musical Reflection CD which offers quiet contemplation time -- a chance to acquire a reflective anchor that intensifies the integration of the listening experience into our lives. This Musical Reflection CD features Resonance by Jorge Alfano's World Ensemble. Drawing from South America, Africa, Tibet, Japan and Spain this ensemble creates universal music that crosses all borders and musical styles.

Eckhart Tolle

Spiritual teacher and author Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of twenty-nine a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. The next few years were devoted to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation, which marked the beginning of an intense inward journey. Later, he began to work in London with individuals and small groups as a counselor and spiritual teacher. Since 1995 he has lived in Vancouver, Canada. Eckhart Tolle is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Power of Now (translated into 33 languages) and A New Earth, which are widely regarded as two of the most influential spiritual books of our time. In 2008, A New Earth became the first spiritual book to be selected for Oprah's Book Club as well as the subject of a ten-week online workshop co-taught by Eckhart and Oprah.

I really got a lot out of The Power Of Now but this book was very short and mostly music. I didn’t see the point. I will definitely go back and reread PoN but this was a miss in my opinion.

I love playing Chapter 2 as meditative background music for actual meditation, or just to soothe the busy mind activity Eckhart reminds us to stop listening to!

I think there's so much value in this approach to life. In my limited experience of it, it has been liberating to say the least. Bravo!

The 1st half of this was great...but I gave it a 4 because the music in it was annoying!! One whole “chapter” was just irritating music. I love Eckhart Tolle and his teachings though. NOW is all that is❣️

The meditaion is very peaceful. The music beautiful. Eckhart's voice is also soothing. I feel a huge sense of peace listening to the book and meditation and the music, as if a big burden has been lifted from my life. I really love this book.

He said that white is all colors and black is the absence of color which isn't true.
Black is all colors. Take all colors and blend them togather you'll get black not white.
White reveal all colors because it putthe light on it but its not all colors

I know that you would not wish to be called teacher . But I am so grateful for you. Your lessons and it seems your very voice brings a depth to visions that I myself have experienced , to the wisdom teachings , and science bringing them ever more clearly into a wonderful ,almost magical ,cohesive whole. Thank you for this book and all of your other books .And for a life so well lived!

Of all the Tolle audiobooks I have listened to, this is my favorite. One hour of learning how to be in the now with a lot of resonance for me. Then one hour of nice contemplative world music. Great for when walking at the beginning of the day.
