- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Basically, do the work take on the new responsibilities don't expect higher pay or title and hope to God one day it will all pay off. I don't know what world this guy comes from but this scenario only works in the movies. Reality has taught me, if your best efforts are not valued where you're at, start looking for a better company. You'll be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. This book is an absolute waste of time.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I like this book. I think that Mark Sanborn has a good point. We are all leaders and we can and do influence others. It is inspiring. So just be a good incluence and presto you are a leader whether you have a title or not.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A very light common-sense approach to leadership which can basically be summed up by: you will reap what you sow. The examples he gives are ordinary and not particularly eye-opening about good teachers and engaged employees. There are no real tools, nor any principles. It is however simple, easy to read and a nice reminder of how to act on a daily basis.
