      Rated: B-This book awakened me to how passionately GOd seeks a love relationship with me. For me, I saw God as all-knowing -- pure wisdom. He is more. His essense is love -- a passionate love.

      I'm sorry, but I cannot get into all of the far out stories that seemingly lead to no where. At the end of every story - I'm thinking to myself what does all of this have to do with the desire for the sacred romance with God that I am so eager to find? He seems to be going around the issue of sacred romance instead of approaching it head on. I want something that cuts right to the chase, but he seems to beat around the so called bush. All of his writings seem to be this way. I listened to over 20% of the book and I feel like that I have wasted my time. It's all just a bunch of fluff with absolutely no substance. If I knew that it would get better I might have kept listening, but I'm bored of his approach. I enjoy reading and listening to John Bevere. His books don't have all of the fluff and cut right to the reason why you are reading his books.

      If you’re a new Christian trying to understand a new perspective to addressing hurt and pain this may be a good book to start. I personally didn’t like it. It doesn’t get to the point for me. He doesn’t address the intimacy as much as he should in a correlation manner. Pointless stories that don’t tie into the concept of intimacy with Christ and some claims that aren’t Biblically referenced. As if he was adding to the stories of the Bible to fill in the holes and to keep the romanticizing and fantasy up. You don’t have to add to the Gospel it’s great the way it is. I wouldn’t recommend this book overall. But if you choose it possibly good for beginners.

      Phenomenal. It paints the picture of our great love story set in the midst of a fierce battle as Zoweh, a similar Christian ministry, frames it. The workbook takes the book to a deeper level almost as if you are sitting in counseling except you’re journaling with the workbook as your guide. It helps you see what your beliefs are about yourself, the world, God ... and how they formed and then into assessing their accuracy.
