Decent book for a high-level overview, but not going to get into real detail. This may be a good starting point if you know absolutely nothing about real estate investing. If you have any real knowledge, skip this book and find one with a little more meat in it.

Very, very informative. I'll have to listen through again to get everything (too much I do for a single listen through) but this will give you a thorough understanding of the basics regarding buying and renting properties and what it takes to buy and manage one with a property manager or by yourself. this is not the advanced book nor does it cover taxes or loans in severe depth but you get some of the basics you need in regards taxes and loans too.
