- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Walter Mosley is one of my favorite authors and Easy Rawlins is the main reason. My life and environment is much different now that it was growing up in South Central LA. Settling in with Easy and Co, reading those addresses and the characters concerns reminds me of the Faulkner quote that the past is never dead, in fact it's not even past. 4.5 stars
