About this audiobook

“Do you know how scary it is to want something so bad you’re willing to change your whole life for it?”

Emily Cooper is ready to risk everything to be with the man who has consumed her thoughts and dreams since the fateful day they met. Unraveling fast, she can only cling to the hope that Gavin Blake still wants her.

Nursing his wounded heart, Gavin has cut himself off from society and retreated into a self-destructive, mind-numbing world. Emily isn’t used to being the strong one, but she’ll have to find the daring and confidence within to fight for their love and bring Gavin back from the edge—even if it means losing herself to their all-consuming, pulse-pounding passion. A New York Times bestseller, Pulse is the unforgettable conclusion to the story of Emily and Gavin that began with Collide.

I absolutely loved the story as a whole. At the same time, I really, really, really do not like that the author split this very well done story into two halves.

Review to come, but in the meantime:

Love, love, love Gavin. Of all the alpha-male heroes out there, he may be my very favorite. Damn, that man.

Brilliant! I am in love with Gavin! This is a great conclusion to a great love affair. I am so glad Dillon gets...OOOPS!! No spoilers here! Read Collide if you have not read it. Then, continue and read Pulse. It is unforgettable. I reached a part in the book where I almost had a heart attack! Let's just say Gail McHugh knows how to twist the plot!

I liked this book better than the first, though at times it was kind of a mushy romance. I really liked the plot twists in this book, they were very suspenseful to me. I'm super happy that the couple got their HEA.

This was the perfect conclusion to Gail McHugh's Collide series. I read this book in one sitting, I hardly ever do that, but I was not satisfied until Emily and Gavin got their true HEA. The beginning of this book just about broke my heart along with Emily's and Gavin's. Gail McHugh does a wonderful job closing out this series, she gives the closure everyone needs and of course throws in that one curve ball which almost made me walk away from the book :) I have not been so enthralled in a book in quite a while. I could not get enough of Gavin and Emily's story and felt that Ms. McHugh gave her readers the perfect HEA. The only downfall is that Ms. McHugh has decided to leave this world and will not continue with any of the secondary characters. Definitely one of the best New Adult books/series I have read this year.Happy Reading!

It's EPIC!...Honestly,there are no words to describe the magnificence of this book..Collide is an amazing read,no doubt. But Pulse takes everything in another whole dimension..The story without precedent. The emotions literally flowing within the story. The characters so pure that captivate you with one action/one sentence. It's just amazing..it is definitely one of the best books of the year and one of the best books I've ever read..PSI almost had a heart-attack,right before Emily woke up(when you read it,you'll know what I mean)..
