About this audiobook

Golden Quill Award Finalist

SECRETS…In the hidden world that exists beside our own, a mirror world of ancient magic and elegant deceptions, a world of people who are so much more than they first appear, a war is brewing. Most of these Gifted people—the Ikati, a savage, sensual race of lethal predators—are content to hide behind human smiles, disguising their splendor in order to survive. But others are discontent. And they will hide no longer.

BETRAYALS…Eliana lives for two things only: vengeance on the man who killed her father and seeing her father’s dream of living in the open with humans come to pass. But that dream is far too dangerous for The Hunt, a group of elite Ikati assassins with one objective: eliminate her before she can expose their secrets to the world.

SEDUCTION…Demetrius is haunted by the memory of the woman he once loved. He will risk everything to save her from the killers on her tail…and convince her, before the ancient walls between two worlds crumble, that only together can they defeat their real enemy, a brilliant, cunning traitor far more deadly than either of them can guess.

I got this book as an early reviewers. I could hardly put this book down. The characters are well developed. It is part of the Night Prowlers series, however, you do not need to read the other books to understand this book. I didn't know it was a part of a series until I was almost done with it. I would encourage anyone to read this! (although there are some sex scenes)

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:After adoring the first two books of this series, I had Rapture's Edge on Kindle Pre-Order and started it the day after release...Starting 3 years after the ending of Edge of Oblivion, Book #2, Rapture's Edge focuses on 2 characters that I was absolutely in love with in the 2nd installment - Demetrius (D), a former enforcer for the King, and Eliana, the displaced princess of the European Ikati tribe. At the end of Edge of Oblivion there were some major events that led to a heartbreaking misunderstanding and forced Demetrius and Eliana apart. In Rapture's Edge, Eliana is in hiding with her people - primarily her sadistic & presumed useless brother and his deceitful and conniving right hand man - and she's the primary bread winner for the colony by becoming an infamous cat burglar and fighting in underground fightclubs. Unfortunately, her cover gets blown and the human organization that her people are trying to hide from, as well as an Assassin sub-division of the Ikati, pick up her trail. Demetrius does as well... After searching for Eliana for 3 years, Demetrius doesn't wait a second to go after her once he finds out where she is despite the protests of his brothers. He's never stopped loving her and is determined to protect her from whatever comes her way. He also knows he'll need to do some explaining given the abruptness of their parting and the events preceding it.Rapture's Edge is an emotional roller-coaster. You want to slap Eliana (but only because you know things she doesn't), you ache for Demetrius and his plight of being caught between a rock and a hard place, you yearn for the two to get together - FINALLY! - and you loathe everyone that tries to keep them apart.Outside of the incredible heart of the story, there was plenty of action, some amazing romance, and like Edge of Oblivion, an ending that was chock full of mystery & surprise and will make you want the next book immediately without feeling like you were left totally hanging.I give Rapture's Edge 4 1/2 Skulls and am definitely looking forward to the next installment of the NIGHT PROWLER series!

This book had me from the very beginning. Really I could not put it down. It had action, strong characters and great storyline. Eliana was so strong, a little naïve but a character that I completely loved. She walked in on Demetrius aka D whom she thought she loved holding the gun standing over her father laying on the flood dead with several of the other guards standing around. Before anyone has a chance to talk to her she runs away with her brother Caesar and her fathers' most trusted servant Silas and a few of the other members of the Rome Ikati. They go into hiding in France. To help keep her tribe members and her father’s dreams alive she starts to steal artwork and with the help of a very good business man Gregor (I really liked him!) who knows the ins and outs on all side of business. The police finally catch-up with Eliana on top of that she is being hunted by The Hunt and D right there only a few steps ahead of them. I was all over this book I couldn't get enough. Very action packed and lets just say D is very swoon worthy of the utmost. This is the 3rd book in the series. Very good as a standalone book. I'll be looking for future books in this series.
