About this audiobook

Eventide is the riveting conclusion to The Days of Redemption trilogy by Shelley Shepard Gray, celebrated author of tender Christian romance novels set in Amish country.

Honest and faithful Elsie Keim falls for her new neighbor, Landon, but she can’t bear to tell him the truth: She’s going blind.

Landon is enamored with Elsie. When Elsie’s brother Roman steps in and shares the truth of Elsie’s disease, Landon is floored. His job is demanding and takes him away from home, sometimes for days at a time. He wonders how he’d be able to keep up with his responsibilities and take care of Elsie.

In Eventide, three generations of the Keim family come together to make their dreams come true.

Shelley Shepard Gray, bestselling author of the Sisters of the Heart books, draws her Days of Redemption trilogy to a heart-warming finish.

This book deals with someone who struggling to deal with herself and her Illness a bit and building a relationship. This book does go into several thing about dealing the illness and how to over come it and several different issues. I really do believe the author did a great job. I will let you decide it you ever want to read it and come away with your own thoughts on it.

I loved the characters and the overall storyline of this series. I am finding that I really love Shelley's writing and I can't wait to check out more books by her. Anyways lets get back to this book. This book focus on Elise and her struggles with getting her family to let her live her life and also with trying to find someone to love her even though she is losing her eyesight. I loved the ending and I was so happy for her and how things worked out. I loved everything about this book and I can't wait to check out other books by her in the future.

I really dislike this series to end. Have grown to love these characters, and I too, like the Author enjoy the Grandmother, Lovina. What a strong and loving person she is.This book wraps up several stories in one. Elsie is coming to terms with impending blindness, but is there an answer to help her? When a new neighbor begins to help her brother Roman, she likes what she finds in Landon Troyer. With her handicap can their ever be a relationship?Peter is finally embracing his problems, but when the book opens, his wife Marie is seriously ill. Changes are coming in the family. Soon Viola will be marrying and moving to Belize. Roman and Amanda have started a new life, but what about Elsie? How will she deal with her blindness?Loved all of the stories! What a great amount of love goes around here. Such a great faith in God is shown, and a large amount of prayer goes into the life decisions. Enjoy this third book, I sure did, and want more.We are also treated to a preview to Shelley Shepard Gray's new novella, Peace.I received this book through Litfuse Publicity Book Tours, and was not required to give a positive review.

Elsie Keim is going blind. She lives with her large, overprotective, Amish family. One thing she longs for is to find true love but with her coming blindness she knows no man would ever want her. However, handsome neighbor, Landon, starts showing an interest in her and she decides to keep her failing eyesight a secret. Elsie's brother, Roman, takes it upon himself to inform Landon of her condition, his heart is broken. With such a demanding job he would be away from home a lot and he wouldn't be able to take proper care of Elsie. This is such a sweet emotional story, the characters are so loveable, their dilemma's heartbreaking. The author does a wonderful job of showing God's love. The three books in this series are a wonderful addition to any library. I received a copy of this book free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
