Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she's back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila-and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn't the tequila and hot sex talking. He's the kind of man she's always wanted. Unfortunately, he's also her new boss . . .

Kane "Tack" Allen has a rule. He doesn't employ someone he's slept with. So when he learns he spent last night in bed with his new office manager, he quickly fires Tyra. Yet when Tyra stands up to him and fights for her job, Tack is intrigued. He tells her she can keep her job on one condition: no more sex. Ever. Kristen Ashley

Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

MOTORCYCLE MAN was a very interesting contemporary romance. The hero has a touch of Terrible, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and Barrons in him, and that much alpha male is alarming to read in a realistic settings. Also, the violence and "take matters into your own hands" brand of justice that is so prevalent in fantasy series are more than a little alarming in a real world biker sense. While I didn't embrace the gender roles of the bikers as thoroughly as Tyra, Ashley does a good job writing these difficult issues. Editing is a little bit of an issue, in terms of narrative flow, but at least it errs on the side of too many scenes with characters I enjoyed, even if they weren't always essential.

You love it or you hate it. Why? You judge this book either with your head or your heart. If head..It is politically incorrect..The little woman gets no say. The language used is often very rough to say the least and at times difficult to understand with out thought. You would not want this lifestyle for your daughter. Now tell your mind to shut the f**k up. Look at this book with your heart.

Tack is the leader of Chaos a biker group that works with cars and bikes at the garage. Tyra sleeps with him, wants him, is thrown out by him.

Tyra...aka Red.aka Cherry knows what she wants..kinda. He is a jerk one minute and dream man the next.

Tack is without doubt the hottest hero I have met in the last few years of reading romance. Yes hotter than BDB. He is called Tack because he is that sharp. He lives free and enjoys life to the fullest. His actions tell one story, his meaning for his actions quite another and not easily guessed. He sometimes holds Red firmly by the neck. Not roughly and not gently. It is frightening to her until she finds out why. This is only one of several actions of Tack that will melt your heart.

As you walk along side the fiesty Redhead Tyra you fall for him as hard as she does. you like her because she is saying and doing exactly what you would have done. It is easy to become her.

Tack looks out for what is his and so it seems does Tyra. The ending is even better than the fantastic story. I miss Tack. Oh yah, this book will be read again and again. As you read through other people's reviews you notice that lines in the story are quoted. There are so many fantastic quotes in this book you might as well memorize the whole thing. It is that good. If you like badboy this book is a must read.
This was my first Kristen Ashley book and she has just hit the top of my favourite authors list. Loved it.

So, I just read this. And I understand now what they mean when they call this "cracktastic." I wanted to put it down and I damn sure can't cosign on this relationship. but I had to know what fucked up thing Tack was going to do/say next. Plus...there are kidnappings. O_O

There are no moments that I want to savor. No moments to go back and ahhh over. There are only "WTF did he say??!! Oh no! He didn't just say/do that!" moments.

And this book is chock full of moments like those.

And this guy is the guy you are terrified your sister, daughter, family member, best friend - hell, even casual friend - might end up dating. Terrified.

Yeah. I'd run while running if I met him.

    But I still read it.

    My God. Crack is whack.

I flew threw this. But I had lots of problems with the text.

It's way too long. They said their "I love yous" over 100 pages before the end of the book. There's an entire section of differing POVs all reliving the same moment that was completely skim-able.

Tack is...a caveman. But Tyra loves it so...I guess it works for her.

Another great book by Kristen Ashley. Somehow she just knows how to dig deep and pull out emotions that affect the reader. I really enjoyed Tack's story, and I'm so glad that she is continuing the stories of characters from this book in her Chaos series.

    Motorcycle Man
    5 Stars

After Tyra Masters spends a night of passion in the arms of Kane “Tack” Allen, leader of the Chaos motorcycle club, she is convinced that she has found the man of her dreams. Unfortunately, Tack does not share this conviction and easily dismisses her from his bed and his mind. Upon learning that Tyra is his new office manager, Tack attempts to fire her, but Tyra stands her ground and Tack soon realizes that their one night stand is about to become a whole lot more…

It is safe to say that Motorcycle Man not only lives up to its hype, but exceeds it.

Tack initially comes across as a complete jerk and there are moments when it is difficult to grasp what Tyra sees in him beyond his bad-ass biker persona. However, as the story progresses, more of Tack inner life is revealed and his connection with Tyra grows from the physical into the emotional.

Tara is an incredible heroine who has the temper to match her red hair. She not only holds her own against Tack’s alpha male superiority and possessiveness, but out maneuvers him again and again. It is a pleasure to see a man with such definite ideas about how a woman should react fall so hard for a mouthy spitfire who does not fit into the mold.

The secondary characters are wonderful as usual. None of the men in Tack’s club know quite what to make of Tyra and it is fun seeing them fall at her feet when she proves herself to them over and over. Tack’s teenage children, Rush and Tabby, are sweet and prove once again that Ashley knows how to write about kids, but the real highlight is the bond that has formed between the other dream men of the series - Hawk, Brock and Mitch.

The plot revolving around the Russian mob continues in a surprising direction and the resolution involves some truly heart-wrenching moments.

All in all, a fantastic conclusion to the series and I look forward to reading all of Ashley’s books in the near future.

This book. omg. I don't even know where to start...

How about I start by saying I picked this up because I've been seeing it everywhere. It seems like everyone I know is reading this author. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment but all the "omg these books are like crack" comments are really what made me want to read it. Sometimes I just can't help myself. Don't judge.

Truth is, these books ARE cracktastic. My reading notes ranged from "that did NOT just happen" to "what are you, 12?" to "@%$*@?#&$!!!!!1!". Tack is an ass. I'm not just saying that. He's seriously an ass. The kind I want to karate chop in the throat. The way he bulldozed into Tyra's life, humiliated her, harassed her and annoyed her was just..beyond the beyond.

    And yet..

I loved him. No, I really did. He starts out a jerk and stays that way. But as his layers are peeled back things about him begin to make more sense. Not that I'm condoning his asshat behavior, because if I met this dude in real life I'd be all "Chopper, sic balls". But I can't deny there was a certain Fictional appeal to him.

Or maybe I've just been watching too much Sons of Anarchy?

    eh, either way.

There's a good chance I'll reread this book. Because I'm sick and twisted.

I already have 4 other Ashley books to read. Send help. Or tequila.

What an awesome ending to a series that didn't hooked me at first, but by the end of the second book I was totally in love with these characters. Although Mitch and Mara's story was awesome, this one was totally the BOMB! I loved every single moment betwen Tyra and Tack, every banter, every fight and every sexy and hot as hell scene they had. And what about these epilogues that Mrs. Ashley writes for us?! AWESOMENESS in its purest form! Master piece this one.

Wow! I finally got to enjoy both the unique Ashely writing style, and a plot I liked, and several characters that I loved, and some smoking hot sex!! Tack was amazing!! When he did something stupid, he apologized. He was great with his kids, hard working, loyal, had a sweet side, adored Tyra, and treated her well. This is the kind of guy I like to see in a romance novel. The plot was typical for this series, but at least the kids were pretty much not tortured or kidnapped. I loved Tyra. She was smart & sweet, but also strong & didn't let Tack walk all over her. She was there for the kids and her friends, and most importantly, for Tack.

After the epilogue, Ashley had a teaser for her next book about Tack's daughter. I think Ashley better find a good hiding place. I had a flashback to the video "Take on Me" by A-ha. I pictured Tack coming out of the pages of the book and taking away Ashley's computer. This could get interesting.

I really, REAlly enjoyed this book. It felt like reading and episode of Sons of Anarchy. What a ridiculous pleasure this was to read, despite the head hopping, editing errors and over the top heroes of the ALPHA variety and their kinda ditzy heroines. If you've not indulged in this author, do. What a treat.

This is my absolute favorite book of the "Dream Man" series. I absolutely adored Tack and Tyra. Tack was a major bad ass biker but he didn't have a problem exposing his softness to Tyra, he didn't think his feelings for her made him weak. Tyra was so out of her depth in the biker world but she stepped up and did what she did and was who she was and made a place for herself beside Tack. She didn't have a problem going head to head with Tack and still staying sweet. She was vulnerable but once Tack realized how she was he handled her with care and it was sweet. I just loved them!
The plot was in depth and you got to see a bunch of your favorite character from previous books, of course! I was glad to see the end of the Russians, and how it ended, wowza! I almost wish that KA had gone more in depth with Tyra at that point so we could see what else was happening, she was with them for hours, and we only got to see about 5 minutes of her captivity.

I had sort of been on the fence about reading this one, the blurb just didn't do it for me, and while I liked Tack in the previous books I didn't like Tack, but I am crazy glad I sucked it up and read this, because it's definitely my favorite of this series and right up there with Sweet Dreams as one of my all time favorite KA books.

Quite gutted that this serie is over I really loved it and wouldn't have minded to read 10 more of these stories. They are all fun, cute, romantic with a twisted wild side, action packed but not in an overly dramatic annoying way. I also love how they are all linked together. Would totally recommend them to anyone and will for sure read them again very soon!

So I find myself still thinking about this book even though I finished it a few days ago. That means something for me since I usually read a book and forget about it and move on to the next one right away. For some reason, this one has stuck with me. It's that insidious Kristen Ashley magic, the way her characters can sneak in and just take over until you can't think of anything else. That's the way it's been for me with Tack. He can be such an asshole, but then he's so damn charming about it, I found myself forgiving him.

I didn't even have my usual complaint about Kristen's writing style, it just didn't faze me at all this time. I was so caught up in this story that her usual run on sentences(which weren't nearly as prevalent in this book) and repeated phrases ("pain in the ass" ring a bell?) didn't even register on my brain. She even kept the "Babe" sentences to a minimum. It was great.

And I loved the characters-all of them. Even the crazy ex was great. Nobody seemed so over the top that I couldn't appreciate them. Even the Russian dudes were fun.

So now I'm waffling between a 4 and a 5 star rating--oh what the hell...5 it is. The story kept me engaged, dying to find out what happens next; the characters were all I could ask for; and the writing style didn't drive me nuts this time. What more could a girl want?

My Rating: Four stars!Release Date: January 28, 2014Genre: Suspense Erotic RomanceABOUT THE BOOK:Stuck in a colorless world, Tyra Masters decides to chuck her old life and starts searching for something. She doesn’t know what it is until she meets her dream man. The goateed, tattooed, muscled, gravelly voiced motorcycle man who plies her with tequila and gives her the best sex of her life. She just may or may not have forgotten to tell him that part.Kane “Tack” Allen has a rule. He doesn’t employ someone he’s slept with. And he lets Tyra know that in his motorcycle man way. Tyra fights for her job and wins it using sass and a technicality. Tack challenges her that if she hits his bed one more time, she loses her job.Tyra is determined to keep her job and keep away from Tack. But she makes a big mistake. During their head-to-heads, she lets it all hang out and shows Tack she is who he’s looking for. And Tack has had a good woman slip through his fingers, he’s not about to let that happen again.Although Tack colors Tyra’s world with a vibrancy that’s blinding, being with him means she has to live in his Motorcycle Club world. Full on, no holds barred. And since Tack’s world, not to mention Tack, is a little scary, Tyra isn’t so sure. It's Tack's job to convince her.MY REVIEW:Seeing as I read this entire series backwards, and started with Chaos series, I was thrilled to see how these two finally came to be. It was a great story that was gripping, had tons of suspense, and a whole lot of sexiness to boot. I loved Tyra’s smart ass mouth in the story and I am a true believer in a strong woman putting a man in his place when he gets out of hand. This story held all of that, and more. It was engaging, you were in the character’s heads so you understood why there were making some decisions that otherwise might be questioned, and you genuinely felt the love for the characters, for each other, and from the reader. You want a book that will knock your socks off six ways to Sunday? Then pick this one up now. I loved it so much, I just had to get the rest of the series! I wasn’t disappointed!
