About this audiobook
Bertram Wooster's manservant, Jeeves, is renown for his ability to apply his keen intellect to solve all problems domestic, and Bertie's friends and relatives flock to him for his counsel. But Wooster, jealous of Jeeves's fame, decides to step in and take over as the fixer of his pal's engagement, his aunt's gambling debts and old school-mate's desire to propose marriage. How far will Bertie sink them all in the soup? Will Jeeves come to the rescue? "Right Ho, Jeeves" features of course Bertie and Jeeves as well as Gussie Fink-Nottle, Tuppie Glossop, Aunt Dahlia and Anatole the high-strung French chef in this P.G. Wodehouse farce of England's upper crust. (Summary by Mark Nelson)

Reviews for Right Ho, Jeeves
10 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5We all need a Jeeves in our lives, (“Hey Google?!”), while in this version of the Manservant Jeeves Series, You’ll hear some familiar favorites, but don’t tune away thinking they are all just rehashes of earlier stories, as You will also hear a whole new range of Stories and situations, that Bertram “Berty” gets himself into, usually while attempting to be a Good Pal to his fellow Chappies, and to bail them out of some self inflicted troubles (generally related to ensuring that they won’t lose either their inheritance or the woman they love), and time, and time again, the plot that stirs it all up, is hatched by the ever faithful, ingenious, stealth, and unflappable, “Jeeves.” While somehow in the end, it ends up being “Berty” that comes out of things having paid the price; however Large or Small.
One thing that is unusual in this version of the Series is that “Berty”, seems to have become quite a bit more jaded in regards to Jeeves all knowing, all seeing, and all fixing prowess. Sounding a bit sore at everyone else’s presumption that Jeeves is the “brains” (with, I believe even Jeeves himself making remarks along those lines to his own Employer), while Berty basically is only the purse strings, and there just taking up space. This bit of angst between Berty and Jeeves certainly comes across in Berty’s ongoing Narration in this particular collection of stories.
NARRATOR:
The Narration is wonderful, as it always is when spoken by the Librivox Community’s Volunteer, who usually reads the Jeeves Series stories (I’m too tired to go see whom), but he definitely does a smashing job of it, and that helps to make this Audio Series a delight to hear, imagine, and immerse oneself into for hours at a time! - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Terrible piece of crap. I keep getting nasty suggestions like this when I search for a different author. YUCK.
