About this audiobook

Have you ever felt like you were living your life for a future that was predetermined? Like there was some bigger picture you just prayed you would someday see clearly? That picture has been crystal clear to me since I was old enough to recognize it for just what it was. Or I should say, recognize him for who he was.

I've loved Cohen Cage since I was a small child. He's been my everything for the last twenty-two years. I've loved him through every girlfriend he's ever brought home. Through his college years and then mine. I've loved him through two deployments. And ever since the day I told him how I felt, he's acted like I'm a stranger.

My name is Danielle Reid, and it's time for me to get my man.

Our future is an unexpected fate, and no matter what our parents, siblings, and friends say . . . it's going to be worth every second of the fight to make it happen.

(Cohen & Danielle): Well, well, well. Little Cohen Cage has finally grown up. Hard to believe this is the little boy who ran around talking about getting an earring in his penis in the beginning of the "Corps Security" series. The kids are all older now and Cohen is in the military. Danielle has been in love with Cohen all her life but since he was a few years older, he treated her more like a sister or cousin. Now she's older and he's struggling to avoid looking at her like the woman she is. He's wanted her for years but she was young, now he is redeploying and doesn't want her to wait. I love this series already. Cohen and Danielle have such a strong chemistry and bond. He's extremely protective over her and also jealous of anyone who gets her attention. Danielle is tired of the games. When they finally come together it's electric but then there's a point in the book where it's very Bella in New Moon in her depression phase. I couldn't deal. It was so sad. Despite this series being about the kids of Corps Security we still get a good healthy dose of all the original characters and I love it. Great start to the series.

Cover of audiobooks in this series and description sounded promising. Nope, forget it
