About this audiobook

"Who gives a damn about their reputation? Oh, that would be me! Especially since mine had gone straight to hell in the span of thirty minutes."

Maysie Ardin is soaking up the summer before her junior year of college, shopping, hanging by the pool and shopping some more. But when her black belt in spending lands her in trouble with her parents, she is forced to take a second job at a local bar to dig herself out of a deep financial pit.

She thought she'd be miserable. But then Maysie didn't count on Jordan Levitt, the hot, pierced and tattooed, drum-playing bartender who also happens to be very interested in her. And the feelings are totally mutual.

It had the makings of the perfect romantic set up. Boy meets girl. Boy likes girl. Boy has girlfriend? Okay, maybe not.

But attraction is a hard thing to ignore and soon Jordan and Maysie find themselves in the middle of a gossip-induced firestorm. Maysie has to learn whether she can set aside her fear of public disapproval in order to be with the one she wants. Or will she let the opinions of others dictate her life and her heart?

There is so much I can take from an annoying protagonist, Maysie made it difficult for me to read this book. At first she seem to be a confident female protagonist but for some reason I wasn't buying it. The confidence she tries to portray conflicts with her internal dialogue of comparing herself to other females and she believes Jordan's girlfriend makes more sense to be with him than her because she looks prettier, I guess. And the stoner guy she's supposedly dating or not doesn't respect her. The sorority aspect of the story was not believable, their were immature and were more like high-schoolers. I was fed up with Maysie's constant drinking till she wasn't able to stand straight. Maysie also gives backhanded compliments to other girls, she describes them as beautiful but then goes on to describe their clothing as non-existent, with their boobs and asses hanging out. She then describes her clothing basically sexy but demure. I think she's trying to say these girls are dressed like sluts but not really saying it and at the same time making it sound like a compliment but it's not. I could see where this story was going right away, and that someone was going to get hurt badly and be the bad guy and of course that would be Maysie.

3/3.5. The first quarter of this book was almost a deal breaker, but moved fast after that.

I've been wanting to read A Meredith Walters for a long time -- she has so many books that are well-received, it is hard to know where to start -- and finally set my mind to this one because it is a stand-alone (the next in the "series" is of the relationship between Her roommate and one of His band mates).

This is a NA college romance and, while it was okay, it wasn't unusual or distinctive. A bit too much yo-yo-ing, but that is typical college romance. Perfect for an easy-read-need for a beach vacay.

WOW what a HELL of a ride this book was ... I could not stop turning the pages , I was dying to find out what was going to happen next and wanted so badly for everything to work out in the end ... I truly think I need to start a book boyfriend section somewhere because the men Are amazing in some of the books I read .

Bad Rep is full of Drama, gossip and an intense love! WOW! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT AND I do Believe A. Meredith Walters has moved up in the ranks of authors I am loving . She truly knows how to write a story .

    “Holy bad boy Batman!”

Jordan , HOT DAMN, tattooed , sexy as hell, pierced in a rock band , romantic man ...GOD I LOVED HIM .. This guy was head over heels for her. He'd never felt about anyone the way he felt for her. They had such a strong chemistry. he totally pulled me in right from the start.

"Who gives a damn about their reputation? Oh, that would be me! Especially since mine had gone straight to hell in the span of thirty minutes"

Sorority girl Maysie Ardin has made some bad choices lately. She's not doing so well in school, she's dating a loser and, instead of using the credit card her parents gave her for emergency use only, she bought expensive clothing. And now she has racked up a $3500 bill. Her parents are not happy. It's time for Maysie to get her priorities straight. First thing she needs to do, get a second job to pay off her credit card. I loved to hate her honestly , Yes I understood where she was coming from with everything going on , but a few different times throughtout the book I wanted to bitch slap her for causing Jordan Pain hahaha.

The connection between Jordan and Maysie was instant. They have this undeniable chemistry that makes them both hot just by looking at each other. It was awesome .

this definitely was a great story and I would recommend it to anyone who has not read it yet .

I was only at 50% through the book when I thought this must be the end.
For gosh sakes Jordan & Maysie had fought their attraction and when they couldn't take it anymore they dove in and finally were together.......what else could there be?
Oh hold on to your seats Ladies there was so much more!
I couldn't help but want to slap the shit out of Maysie for her self loathing it was getting to be ridiculous. Luckily she did get slapped up side her head but by her friend lol.
Maysie's best advice came from the oddest source a towny looser (or that at least what Maysie thought of Eli- wait Hot towny looser)- but did she take his advice?
Read it you will Love it!
Hot Sex scenes & Physical Attraction that will burn up the pages of the book.
    Good ending.
    I wouldn't mind another book on Maysie & Jordan's Future :)

    Quotes:

"Dear lord, the flash of his gleaming white teeth was like a hot button to my nether regions. Down Vagina! Down, girl."

"What was that? I think I got pregnant just watching you two."

"I bet there wasn't a day in his life he didn't look like sex on a stick."

"It matters to me, Mays. It matters a lot. I don't like seeing some other guy touching you. Not when it should be me touching you."

"What you both are doing is engaging in nonphysical foreplay."

"If I didn't love the guy so much I'd punch him in the face. He's that obnoxious about you."
