About this audiobook
Seventh on Sports Illustrated's Top 100 Sports Books of All Time, Dan Jenkins' Semi-Tough is a raucous, politically incorrect football spoof starring New York Giants redneck star Billy Clyde Puckett. As Puckett records the outrageous buildup to his team's Super Bowl clash with cross-town rivals the Jets, his best friend's voluptuous main squeeze puts some knee-buckling moves on him that he finds difficult to dodge. "Jenkins is as irreverent and hip a sports satirist as ever ."-Publishers Weekly

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Utterly foul-mouthed (even by today's looser standards) and utterly hilarious while being completely politically incorrect. Don't read this if you are easily offended by any indelicate discussion of race religion or gender.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is about... food, booze, music, dope, sex, money, Texas, New York, L.A., and football. It is just about the funniest thing I ever read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Billy Clyde Puckett keeps an audio diary of his life and loves on the way to the Super Bowl. Lots of belly laughs, especially of the politically incorrect kind. Over the top descriptions of team-mates, Super Bowl parties, nightclubs, and daliances of one kind and another. Oh, yeah, and a football game too.
