About this audiobook
The Fates are cackling their bony asses off . . .
It's been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they've given him have been violent and bloody-which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth: he has to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.
Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy's deal might be, but it's a good bet that his arrival means that the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I Did Enjoy This Book. I am also Happy thaT Luke And Deacon Are There as well as Solos and Marcus. I am glad they discuss Aiden and Alexandria. I hope they are in the next books. The narrator for the man is “not good”

Love Love Love - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Greek gods fighting, titans, and Seth all trying to get to one little human. Exciting, sexy and ends with a cliffhanger.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I absolutely adore Jennifer Armentrout and each one of her books and The Return is no different. As much as I love Aiden, I gravitate more towards the bad boys and so I was really excited when I heard there was going to be a Seth spin off. The world that Jennifer has created is truly incredible and I was completely drawn into the whole Greek mythology. Seth was as hot as ever and it was nice to meet the sweet, headstrong Josie. The only thing I didn’t really like and hence why the book is not receiving 5 stars is the whole thing about “history repeating itself” and how Josie reminded everyone of Alex. Come on! The whole point was for Seth to be happy with someone else and to forget about Alex! And Josie is such a sweet character that I didn’t want to think of her as Alex’s shadow or the ‘lesser’ version of Alex. Apart from this (which tbh is pretty minor) the book was really enjoyable and I devoured it in one sitting. I cannot wait for the next instalment.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I wanted to read the return because I'm in bookish love with JLA and I like Seth in the Covenant series so I needed to know what he was up to now. I realized pretty quickly that he still had his sarcastic and jaded view of the world and that JLA writes right to my humor. It made me laugh and I just love the way that he thinks. The return is told in dual perspective so we get the first chapter from seth and then we get to meet our other main character Josie. She has a mom who has schizophrenia and she's having these moments where she's afraid that she might be getting the disease too because she'll have these chills that will over take her. She will feel like that there's people watching her or that there's someone there when she can look around and see that no one's really paying attention to her. her meeting with Seth was pretty epic it dealt with stairs and book bags and her getting a faceful of hotness incarnate. She feels just like a normal person. she is in college she worries about her mom, she has a cool roommate. She is easy to relate to. But there's obviously something up with her because she is going to be under the protection of Seth and he greets her by asking what the f are you? I loved getting to know Seth again he's the same guy I remember he has such a hIdden soft heart for the people that he lets in and otherwise he is tough as nails. he's funny he's sexy he's annoying he's seductive he is smirky, he is strong and so many other things all wrapped up in one hot body. I love seeing that side of him come out again... the protective one the guy that's so attracted to someone else and he'll put what he needs, his goals, his self aside in order to care for the person. Josie is strong. She doesn't have necessarily all of the physical strength yet but she cares so deeply for the people in her life. while she's been raised as a mortal, learning all of this is kind of blowing her mind but she doesn't take it sitting down. she wants to train, she wants to make her body stronger, she doesn't want to just be a victim. I love the Covenant series and we can see elements of Seths unique relationship with Alex carry over some to this book. he feels a lot of guilt about how some of the plot lines went down and he really tries not to think about her a lot because it takes him to a dark place. He did what he could in the end for her and Adian, and while.that was ok for me, still not so much for.him. Also carrying over from the Covenant series we get to see Deacon and Luke, two my favorite secondary characters from the first book. she's taken to the covenant where Alex was previously so of course we get to see Marcus again, and I am back in a familiar setting again. So while the Covenant series was a young adult book, the Titan series is most definitely new adult. I loved it that way because I always wanted more of the steamy scenes in the Covenant series so we can sort of get to see it a lot here. I loved the character development, how both Seth and Josie learned more about themselves, pushing themselves in ways they never expected. I enjoyed how they cared for each other, and helped the other to see the good things within themselves and that they urged the other to really be better. Seth still understandably deals with a lot of guilt, and he feels like he doesn't deserve to be happy, especially falling for the strong, kind hearted person he meets in Josie. This one was actually kinda not cliffie-ish for JLA, but no matter, because I am still aching for more Seth and Josie. I am just so happy when I am reading her books, and this is no exception. Bottom Line: Great beginning to the series, love being in their heads, and their white hot romance.
