Not a huge fan of this book. I guess I would say it was just ok. I was a little shocked by the language at first, I guess because I wasn't prepared and I thought it was a little excessive. I didn't feel like the two main characters, Clarissa & Jasper really fell in love. It seemed forced. I did enjoy the suspence of what would happen with Clarissa's uncle. I can't say if I will be reading the next books in the series. Probably not.

started off very slow and hard to get into, but got better about halfway through. not the best I've read by Jane Feather.

Jane is fast becoming my favorite author. I loved this story and how strong Clarisa was for her little brother. I honestly think Luke should have been sent to Bedlam but will use my imagination to finish him off as painfully as possible over a long period of time. I found the Viscount very rude and obnoxious but oh well. Awesome book really
