      There are no story, its only 5000 loooong sex scenes which gets really boring after a while. They have sex 15 times a day, its just so unrealistic and I had to push the forward button a lot to get through this story. I dont understand how people can find this story entertaining.

      Sed...he's alpha, he's an ass, he's sexy, he's sweet....he's an ass...I didn't want to like him, but I love HIM!!!! Jessica doesn't take his crap and stands up to him, but she is so into not being taken care of by a man that she doesn't realize he is not trying to rule her life, he's just trying to show her how he feels. For all Sed's ASSlike ways this book takes you through all the emotions he and Jess go through trying to figure out their relationship. I wanted to cry with Jess at one point, at the same time my heart was breaking for Sed. Trey, what a sexy sweetie....can't wait to read his story. Eric is still mischeivously sexy. Jace.....something about him just gets to me. In Rock Hard you get to see more interactions of the Sinners and Myrna, not to mention Trey's brother Dare (I really hope he gets a story somewhere down the line). There are a couple of bands introduced in Rock Hard, hopefully we will see more of them in the future. Word of Warning - have a fan, ice cold water and your partner or BOB close by for this one.....man oh man the restaurant, the Eiffel Tower, Wave Pool, so many hot scenes.

      We'll I kept getting interrupted so I finally stay up way to late last night o finish up the book. The beginning seemed to be so much a sex story where two people care about each other but seem to be at such cross purposes. At first it was hard to get into the story but I'm glad I stuck it out. I was unprepared for the depth of emotion the story brought out. There were so many big issues that had to be dealt with. Wow, even the minor character you wanted to hate with all your guts ended up drawing sympathy from me. The story really draws you in and you feel like you are investing in the lives of both Sed and Jess.

      Originally, I figured I'd just read the two freebies in the series I had received. This book as convinced me but the rest of the series on my wish list.

      Olivia Cunning is unparalleled in her ability to write the sexy bad behavior, camraderie, and immaturity to rock stars. While Sed and Jessica don't have the appeal of Brian and Myrna, they certainly have as much chemistry (and quite a bit of artistry, these sex scenes require blocking diagrams and advanced physical training). The law school backstory is pretty appalling, but Cunning's character development is good enough to make that just a blip on the radar. It seems every Sinners on Tour book I finish leaves me eagerly anticipating the next one in the series, I just hope Cunning writes as fast as she is good.

      (3/15/12): I wanted to re-read ROCK HARD because of some of the rough housing scenes between the boys, and I didn't find much more than than enjoyable on the second time around. I just don't click with Sed and Jessica, their issues have a lot to do with insecurities and immaturirites that I don't really like working through along side them. While I applaud how Cunning is willing to give even beloved characters weaknesses (Brian and Myrna definitively don't save the day in this book), Jessica's vacilation on her profession seemed like a plot juke that I didn't quite follow. Realistic, yes, necessary to include? Maybe not... Still eager to read book three, I'm still looking for the Sinners' couple that I really relate to.

      I *loved* BACKSTAGE PASS. I fell in love with all of the Sinners and I can't wait to read their books. I hope all the members of Exodus End get books too. But I did *not* love ROCK HARD. My favorite parts of the book involved Brian & Myrna, or Eric, Trey, and Jace - not the romance between Sed and Jessica. Actually, come to think of it, I liked Sed pretty well, too. Jessica was the problem.

      One of the things that impressed me about BACKSTAGE PASS was how many little details Cunning got RIGHT - the mechanics of Brian's performances on stage, Myrna's grant applications, her worry about tenure. The same cannot be said of ROCK HARD.

      Jessica is supposed to be in law school, but it's really hard to believe. She's at the end of her 2L year, when she should be working as a summer associate with the firm she hopes to end up with permanently. She acts like it's not a big deal that she didn't get a paying summer job, but she's the valedictorian of her class or close to it - she ought to be FREAKING OUT.

      Instead of doing a summer law job, she decides to work as a *stripper*. When I read about Jessica's stripper job I started to wonder if Cunning had found ANY lawyers to vet this book, because the Bar isn't just a test. You also have to prove that you have good "moral character." You can know every law in the book backwards, forwards and upside down but if you don't have the "moral character", you don't get to be a lawyer. So I'm sitting there thinking, "I don't know, Jessica, I think it might be a bad idea for your future as a lawyer to work as a stripper..." but she's not going to cross paths with Sed in a corporate office so, whatever, I'll buy that. But when Jessica and Sed get caught on tape having sex IN PUBLIC and the video is posted to YouTube, I stopped being able to suspend disbelief. She's upset, but she doesn't seem to realize the full consequences...and, indeed, through the rest of the book this YouTube video exists only as a humiliating incident, not as a foolish act that will prevent her from ever passing the Bar.

      Maybe this sounds like a really small, irrelevant issue - but it's not! All the main conflict in ROCK HARD revolves around Jessica's career-minded determination to become a lawyer. She and Sed broke up, two years before the book begins, because she wants to be a lawyer. A big part of the reason why she takes the job as a stripper - and later as Myrna's assistant - is because her scholarship to her law school is threatened by a vindictive professor. The YouTube video causes a huge crisis for her, making her re-think her future as a lawyer. Sed's major challenge is mastering his protective instinct so that he can nurture Jessica's independence (as a lawyer). Jessica's external conflict involves a professor who's sexually harassing her. And yet, at no point in the book, does Jessica ever ACT like a lawyer.

      Actually, Jessica is kind of...stupid and mean. She hates Sed but wants to have an NSA fling with him. She doesn't think he cares about her at all but wants to torture him by breaking his heart all over again (and doesn't see the contradiction there). She tells him to go away but can't leave him alone. She feels sorry for herself all the time, which is strange because she's calling all the shots.

      The only thing about Jessica that I really believed is that she's someone who'd suffered for being beautiful. I know that a lot of reviewers find that to be the most ridiculous aspect of her character, but at least it was authentic.

      So. Yeah. It's a bummer that Sed's book turned out to be a dud because all the Sinners are dreamy and I want all their books to be amazing. Here's hoping that the next book in the series is up to the standard set by BACKSTAGE PASS.

      I was really frustrated with Sed and Jessica for most of the book! It seemed liked they were making progress and then they went right back to be foolish again. You would start to like them, then something would happen and you wanted to throttle them. A lot of the smexy times became repetitive, and I actually started skipping them, they didn’t add anything.
      Now, the times outside the bedroom, the interactions between the band members, and all the storylines not relating to the main couple, they were awesome and I will keep me coming back for more Sinners. The rest, the book could probably be cut in half and there would be a great second chance romance full of steam and heat, but as it is, it was just okay

      Loved this book. You had to want to beat the hell out of all of them at one point or another in the book, but it definitely made you feel like you were part of the story. The big bad lead singer and the girl of his dreams fall in love, get into a fight, find their way back to each other. The journey was fun to read. Can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series!

      This is the second book in the Sinners on Tour collection. The first, Backstage Pass did not disappoint so I was eager to read Rock Hard. Olivia Cunning does an amazing job weaving the stories of each band member into a cohesive story that makes you want more. The erotic scenes in the book are adventurous to say the least. Every girl fantasizes at one point or another about a member of a rock band. This story allows your imagination to insert your favorite rocker. One of my all time favorite books! EXCELLENT READ!
