About this audiobook

A drummer for the hottest rock band on the planet, David has a single, powerful weakness: Thea, the band's publicist and the woman who steals his breath away with her every move.

Only problem is, Thea doesn't date clients-or musicians. Emotionally scarred by a cheating ex, she's not about to risk her heart with a man who has groupies buzzing around him like flies. Even if his sexy smile ties her up in knots.

What she doesn't know is that David is a one-woman man...and he's madly in love with her. David's determined to prove he's worth the risk, and willing to court her, step by exquisite step. Thea's about to discover just how long and hard this handsome drummer can play.

This novella can be read by itself or before or after books 1 and 2. The story is cute and sweet and the only hurdle between them is Thea doesn’t date clients but David works hard to woo her heart in a way that appeals to her and has her overcome her previous heartbreak and trust issues.

    Thea and David

I really liked David and Thea's story. It was short but felt like a full length book, maybe because I'd previously meet both in Rock Addiction. (This story would stand alone but it was better for having read the first book in this Series.)

I hope to read more of David and Thea in the future books of the remaining single Schoolboy Choir members.

5 stars! I loved everything about it! Swoon worthy lead male, tough as nails lead female, hot & steamy love scenes and heart pounding declarations of love. Super swoon! Amazing read! I am definitely a fan of this series and I can't wait for more!

Rock Courtship (Rock Kiss #1.5) by Nalini SinghDavid Rivera is the drummer of The Schoolboy Choir; one of the hottest bands of its time. He has been pining over his publicist, Thea Arsana. However, Thea does not believe in mixing business with pleasure and will not be easy to win over.In book one, Molly, Thea’s sister, gave David the best advice: write Thea, a memo. Let me tell you, the memos in this book are priceless. They are the best memos ever. They prove that both David and Thea are clever and smart. They are stubborn and perfect for each other.I love that David is true to his heart and doesn’t sleep around just because he can. He has morals and a strong work ethic. He is polite, maybe too much so. His family and friends are very important to him. He didn’t have a lot of money growing up but when he became rich, it didn’t go to his head. It is really easy to like David. Thea is a very strong heroine; so tough that it affected her previous relationship and left her hesitant to start a new one. She is a wonderful sister and daughter. She sought out Molly when she discovered she had a sister and knew she could use the comfort of family. She is a good person. She is stubborn, but can be open minded. She is devoted and warm hearted. She looks out for what is best, not what is optimal for her. If I ever needed a publicist, I would want one just like Thea. The plot is charming and original. David and Thea’s journey is not an easy one. Nalini Singh has done a fantastic job with the Rock Kiss series so far. I enjoyed that Rock Courtship overlapped with the first book, Rock Addiction. Rock Courship is believable and heartwarming. It is a fun well-written book that is hard to put down. The band mates are true friends, and I relish hearing more of their stories.Complimentary copy provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I received this Rock Kiss novella from publisher TKA Distributions, via netgalley, in return for an honest review.David Rivera, drummer for Schoolboy Choir and dubbed the 'Gentlemen of rock' by the press, is usually shy when it comes to women. Unlike some of his bandmates, David seems immune to the scores of groupies that throw themselves at the band, everywhere they go. For David has designs on Thea Arsana, the band's savvy publicist, whose number one rule is not to sleep with her clients. Can David manage to persuade Thea to break her own rules? He sends her a memo outlining the reasons they should be together, and an increasingly sexy exchange begins. Will the actions that David and Thea describe so gratuitously in word ever happen in reality?A great little novella, brilliant to slot in between longer reads. A deliciously descriptive rollercoaster ride of rock! 4/5

This Rock Kiss novella tells the story of David and Thea. David is the drummer for the hit rock group Schoolboy Choir. He and his band mates can have all the girls they want but the only one he wants is Thea. Thea is the band's publicist. She has a long standing rule of not dating clients or musicians.David is getting his heart broken by Thea's perceived indifference until Thea's sister Molly encourages him to lay out his feeling in a memo. She knows that her sister won't be able to resist responding. Through memos David gets Thea to see him in a new way.But Thea is still dealing with the betrayal of her former fiance and is not eager to trust her heart to the beautiful musician. David needs both patience and perseverance to win Thea's heart. And, just when things are finally going well, he gets hit with a paternity suit from a young woman who is looking to score big. This was another spicy entry into the Rock Kiss series. I liked both characters very much and ached for them to have their happy ending.
