About this audiobook

Between the evil and the deep blue sea…

A historic cruise ship, a haunted ship, the Celtic American Line's Destiny, sets sail from the Port of New Orleans—with a killer on board. He's known as the Archangel Killer because of the way he displays his victims in churches. And how he places a different saint's medallion on each body. No one knows exactly who he is or why he's doing this.

Jackson Crow—head of the FBI's Krewe of Hunters, a special unit of paranormal investigators—is assigned to the case, along with local agent Jude McCoy. Then Alexi Cromwell, who works in the ship's piano bar, is drawn into the situation when a victim's ghost appears to her—and to Jude. She and Jude share an attraction, and not just because of their mutual talent.

There are many suspects, but one by one they're ruled out.… Or are they? In the end, Jude and Alexi have to rely on each other to catch the killer and escape his evil plans for Alexi.

It has been entertaining and fun reading the book! And quite amazing to learn how the killer was finally discovered. But not after he had succeeded in many killings and taking away different people's life because of his failure of meeting up with any relationship successfully. A man went on a killing rampage because women turned him down for a relationship. He had the feeling that these women prefer working or that they love their career much better. Then their relationship with their lovers or men in this woman lives. When he did not put that much effort into trying to get a woman or work harder to earn the women’s love or association. In the end, he was killed to stop him from taking any more life or that another person.
A great read for me did enjoy following the writer's works love every bit of the story.

Haunted Destiny by Heather GrahamKrewe of Hunters series Book #183&#9733'sWhen it comes to things that go bump in the night, Heather Graham has a knack for making them come alive....no pun intended. Graham takes the paranormal and weaves it into the story in such a way that the reader starts to believe it's plausible. After all doesn't everyone see and talk to dead people? I have read all of the Krewe of Hunters series and found that this one was different from the others. It was missing the constant action, sharp edges in the story, and turbulent emotions. Taking place on a cruise ship restricts the environment of the action...the cast of characters...the possibilities to investigate and especially when the storm hits the agents have to use the old fashion way to investigate the murders. A lot more attention is also paid to the living and entertainment on the ship. I found that the story line became a little repetitive. The characters manner of speech and rigid ways made it sound more like a story from another era....which may appeal to other readers. It's not a bad book but just not something I would read again.
