About this audiobook

Years before she became the celebrated speaker and Unity minister she is today, Edwene Gaines was raising her daughter in abject poverty. Overwhelmed and terrified, she turned toward her faith for reassurance, sustenance, and finally for direction.

What seemed impossible at the time, she did anyway. She gave away 10 percent of every cent that came to her, and when her income tripled in a matter of six months, she knew it was the work of God. She began to follow the three other spiritual laws of prosperity, and today she lives a life of once unimaginable luxury.

Gaines shares with you the secrets for acquiring wealth and living abundantly. She guarantees that following these principles will change your life from one of deprivation and want into one of abundance and freedom:

Tithing and giving,

Setting clear cut goals,

Forgiveness and worthiness, and

Finding your divine purpose.
Edwene Gaines is a widely known seminar leader who works with thousands of people each year on personal issues of prosperity, integrity, commitment, forgiveness, and finding purpose for their lives. An ordained Unity minister since 1979, she is the owner-director of the Rock Ridge Retreat Center in Valley Head, Alabama.

I was pleasantly surprised. Initially I did not realize this was Christian based. But I pressed past that it became clear that Universal truth resided within this book. Glad I stuck it out

Hilarious and captivating writer with salient points. Creating abundance is giving, loving yourself, integrity, forgiveness and letting go of past ideas of who you are. The universe is always responding.

This book was more preachy then informative. It took concepts from the bible and then applied it too making prosperity poorly. None of which was proof driven. Some of the concepts didn't reference the topic of prosperity. Maybe it was because I assumed prosperity was generating income not an elusive sense of self-love through g-d. Which is confusing since she mentions her wealth in the introduction and some chapters. I don't feel like the writer contributed anything to the Bible's already established concepts. It also just felt like I was listening to an insecure narcissist drum on about the obvious.

I feel like it has some wonderful points however I think to say that if you don't tithe you won't make any money at all I think is pretty harsh and not in alignment with God. Plus spiritual food in my opinion is anything that feeds your soul, it's about giving with love and helping the world with your gifts. Not just churches or religious classes etc. It's anything that brings good to the world, in my opinion

In The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity, Edwene Gaines proposes that prosperity and God are intrinsically linked. God wants you to be prosperous and wealthy (whatever that looks like for you), and to achieve your goals, you should follow these four spiritual laws of prosperity:Law #1: TithingLaw #2: Goal-settingLaw #3: ForgivenessLaw #4: Divine purposeEach of these four laws are explained in detail. Gaines is a master storyteller. Her stories illustrate how the laws work, why you should implement each law, and the result if you do. Gaines has an amazing sense of humor, too.Gaines also addresses any cynicism the reader may have. She invites you to be open-minded and try her method for six months (you have nothing to lose). She convinced me!The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity is an important book on your money mindset journey. Not only will you feel empowered about creating wealth, you’ll feel reassured that you are here on this Earth to do great things. My big takeaways:#1: There’s magic in spiritual tithing.Law #1 says you need to tithe 10 percent of your income to any entity that has given you spiritual nourishment.I implemented this law right away because it was the one that scared me the most. I have to tell you: it feels amazing to tithe! I look forward to writing the check (I do it twice a month), and it keeps you on the “look out” for sources of your spiritual nourishment. My income has increased more than 10 percent since I started tithing. Maybe there’s something to this.#2: There is also power in specificity. In the Goal-Setting chapter, Gaines talks about being specific about what you want out of life. One thing I know for sure: The Universe is very literal.I love her analogy that you wouldn’t call up a catalog company to place an order and not tell them specifically what you want. That’s pretty much how goal-setting works too. Be specific. And unapologetically so.#3: Ask The Universe what you must change in your life. This notion hit me over the head like a 2x4.You establish the goal. You set the emotions. But do you think you can manifest what you want without making a change in your life?Listen, God is ready to give you what you want, but you may not be ready to receive it. Ask The Universe to show you how you need to change. When you make this change, what you want will come. How The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity relates to entrepreneurs:Like I mentioned in my book review for The Soul of Money, we are entrepreneurs because we want to make a living helping people. We can have the best product in the world, but if we don’t have the right mindset to accept money, we won’t be prosperous. If you’re like me, finding a spiritual connection to earning money is important, too. That’s where The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity come in. Not only do you get a “formula” to follow for greater prosperity, you receive confirmation that your entrepreneurial journey is a divine one.
