      Fours stars for the book/story. Three stars for the audio presentation. The narrator didn't get the voices right. Sometime it was difficult to tell who was which when there was a conversation going on, even worse when it was between a man and a woman. Also sometimes one couldn't distinguish between the narrator's voice and conversations between the characters in the book. After listening to audiobooks of the previous three in the Brighton series, this was a disappointment. But i did enjoy the book despite that.

      Fun book. A nice ending to a fun series. I was a bit disappointed with whoever read this audiobook. All of the others had someone reading who employed various voices and accents which I love. This reader merely read the book, no accents etc. Disappointing to an audio fan, but the story was worth keeping with it!

      This was a wonderfully delightful series full of romance and fairy tale endings. They also did a great job of the covers of these books. These are "keepers" for me.Avery Truitt has not seen Prince Colin of Brighton Kingdom for years. He was and is Avery's true love, but he stood her up 5 years ago by not showing up for her prom and broke her heart, and she never heard from him . . . . until now. Avery and her Mom fly over to Brighton to see Avery's sister, Susanna, who married King Nathaniel II (you can read their story in 'Once Upon a Prince'). Once there Avery and Prince Colin will meet again and all those feelings will come back to both of them. It is Christmas time in Brighton and old traditions and love are in the air, and this time there is no stopping true love from happening. I loved the feelings these two had for each other and despite many obstacles, these two have a very happily ever after ending that I thoroughly enjoyed. Read the whole series to get the most out of these stories, but each story can also be read as a stand alone. Hope you enjoy your stay in Brighton Kingdom as much as I did!

There appear someone brings Avery and Colin together at every turn. Will Colin father help or harm Colin? The old bell rings and who has pulled it and rung it? People do not believe that god had pulled the 600 pound bell that started ringing and bring all people to the where the accident of Prince Michael died. I love that fact that there is a meaning and some true relationship trouble and Hauck shows that in each story in The Royal Wedding Series? She let the characters work it out their own problems. She does not rush them. Rachel Hauck does well with the plot and her writing is wonderful as well.

      When I was younger I always dreamed of a fairytale wedding. I wanted the beautiful sweeping wedding dress and a white carriage to ride in to the church. There would be a red carpet for me to walk on and as I saw my prince I would hear harps playing in the background. Yes I bet young girls everywhere had similar dreams about their weddings. This story is enchanting, graceful and filled with forgiveness and love. I enjoyed the references to faith throughout the book that wasn't overwhelming but subtle. Avery had her heart broken several years ago by Prince Colin. Now she and her mother are traveling to see her sister in Brighton Kingdom for Christmas. It will be a nice distraction for them since the death of Avery's father. There is one slight problem though. Who do you think she will run into when she gets to Brighton? Will she be able to forgive Colin for the pain he caused her? Colin is a handsome and very eligible bachelor. All the young women are vying for his attention. Even though he is seeing someone, will old feelings stir up when he sees Avery again? It must be hard to grow up in a royal family. There are protocols to be followed and appearances made with the up most of refrain. Can you imagine always being in the spotlight and everything you do is scrutinized? Colin has a strong sense of faith and I loved how he stands up to his dad with great respect. One of the best parts of the story for me was the Pembroke Chapel Bell. The history goes back one hundred eighty- two years and was so interesting to read. For me the bell was the focal point for the entire story. I loved the details of it and how the author brought the bell to be a part of a beautiful love story. I really enjoyed the book and thought it flowed well. Will Avery find her Prince? Will Prince Colin listen to God and follow his heart? Get ready for a story that is faith filled with a romance that little girl's dream of. I received this book from The Fiction Guild. The review is my own opinion.

      Christmas + a fairy tale = great reading! That’s the equation for Rachel Hauck’s A Royal Christmas Wedding, the final book in her Royal Wedding series. Readers met Avery Truett and Prince Colin in the first book in the series, and their whirlwind romance turned heartbreak finally comes full circle as Avery and her recently widowed mother join the royal family of Brighton Kingdom for the Christmas holidays. Neither characters have forgotten the sweetness of their time together nor the bitter taste of separation. But trust is hard to rebuild even when the heart longs for it.I have loved all of Hauck’s books in this series. There is a sense of the magical both in the settings and in the tales that unfold. In A Royal Christmas Wedding, God intervenes when a Colin sends his heart’s desire heavenward. Who needs a fairy godmother when you have God on your side? And while the course of their love isn’t without obstacles, you know in the end there will be a happily-ever-after. In the Epilogue, Hauck also includes a wrap-up to all the love stories that took place throughout the series.       This was not a season for love. Someday a chap might ring the Pembroke bell again. Who knew? But sure as his name was Colin Edward Stratton Tattersall, a prince in Brighton Kingdom, he knew it wasn’t going to be him. No, Prince Colin doesn’t even plan on ringing that chapel bell in declaration of love for Avery Truitt, the athletic, auburn-haired American woman he once fell for. Sure, Avery is back in Brighton for Christmas, but there’s little chance she’ll give Colin a second chance in A Royal Christmas Wedding by author Rachel Hauck. I’ve heard that fans of The Princess Diaries will enjoy this novel, and while I’ve not read the actual Diaries (I only saw the second movie based on the books), I suspect that it’s true. This novel is unashamedly a fairy tale and should be taken as such, though it does make way for some serious themes, including the tension between father/son respect and disagreement. The story also lays Christmas on thick, which I found absolutely delightful. How I’d relish being amid the festive sights and sounds of Brighton during the holiday season! Now, even as it’s a fairy tale, and a romance at that, I thought the story went overboard on the “love” theme in places, to the point where it started to feel schmaltzy. Also, for much of the book, Colin’s character didn’t quite have any “oomph” to me. While Avery had ambition and a little daring fire to her, I wasn’t sure what distinctive quality Colin had besides being in love. He did eventually gain some “oomph” in my eyes, though, after certain secrets came to light. Yes, in reading this novel as a standalone, I jumped in on Book Four of the Royal Wedding series.       A Royal Christmas Wedding by Rachel Hauck is the fourth book in the Royal Wedding series. Avery Truitt as well as her mother, Glo are dealing with the loss of her father in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Susanna, her sister, invites them to spend Christmas in Brighton Kingdom where she lives with her husband, King Nathaniel III. Glo is glad to get away from the memories and is excited to see Susanna (she is pregnant). Avery is not as excited. It has been five years since she has seen Prince Colin Tattersall. They were in love with each other, but Colin broke off their relationship very suddenly (and without a decent explanation). Avery has tried to get over him, but how do you forget your one true love. There is a special tradition in Brighton Kingdom that has not been observed in 182 years. At the end of the Harvest Celebration, just after the last bell rings at midnight, a man in love can ring the Pembroke Chapel Bell. He is announcing his intention to woo and marry a woman on Christmas morning. Colin has been following the path his father set out for him for the last five years. But he is still in love with Avery. He is in the bell tower just before midnight and says a prayer. The Pembroke Bell then rings by itself. This is the sign Colin needed, and he sets out to win Avery. But Avery does not wish to come between Colin and his father. Will there be a happily ever after this Christmas for these two love birds?A Royal Christmas Wedding is a sweet, predictable romance novel. I did not know this book was part of a series when I decided to read it (discovered it after I started reading the novel). It did not hinder my reading enjoyment. A Royal Christmas Wedding can be read alone. The author provides the reader with the information they need to understand and enjoy the story. The novel is nicely written, has engaging characters, good historical element, steamy romance, and has a nice Christian element. I give A Royal Christmas Wedding 4 out of 5 stars (I have to admit that I liked it). The epilogue wraps up the series with a bow.

      A Royal Christmas Wedding is the fifth book in the Royal Series. This book is Avery Truit and Prince Colin's story. Their love story actually started in the first book in the series, Once Upon a Prince when her sister Suzanne fell in love Prince Nathaniel the heir to the Brighton Kingdom throne. This was five years earlier and they fell in love in short time but something happened and hearts were broken on both sides. You know this is a fairy tale and the young couple will get back together but it was fun seeing it all come together and all obstacles gone.Even though I'm not really a fan of modern fairy tales this story was an enjoyable read. The only criticism would be the two morning show hosts Maddie and Hyacinth. Their dialogue added nothing to the story and could have be eliminated or minimized.Thanks to Netgalley and Zondervan for providing me a digital copy of this book to read and review. This book is due to be released on October 18, 2016.
