About this audiobook

Dark. Mysterious. Gorgeous. Loved by all the girls.
Respected by all the guys. As the heir to a billion-dollar empire, Kian Maston's future was promising until the day he saved my life. Everything changed for both of us, and there was one more word that could be used to describe him-dangerous.

The nation fell in love with Kian while falling in hate with me. He was sent to prison, and as far as they were concerned, it was my fault. I was forced to go into hiding until today.

Kian's being released from prison, and he should go back to being the golden boy he always was supposed to be. I should remain in hiding, living my life as normal as could be. That's what we should do . . .Contains mature themes.

I think it's fair to say that I cannot get on board with Tijan's writing and characters. I've tried so many books and I just cannot finish them. I thought I would enjoy this one more with it being out of high school but I become confused during the development of the main plot and become very annoyed with the heroine. She really did rub me the wrong way.

The story did intrigue me and I wanted to know where it was going but I become confused fairly quickly. Maybe this would have been better as a read book instead of an audio?

I was not really happy with this book. It had to much information about the other characters and not enough interaction between the main characters. When the characters met it was so brief and the love between them didn’t seem strong just there??‍♀️

This book has a great storyline to it I always love Tijan’s books. The audiobooks are great to listen to but they cut off a few seconds towards the end of the chapter and it goes in and out towards the end of the book.

I would give more for the story and narrators, thay were both great, but please check the endings of some chapters. They are cut off too soon on some words or sentences.

I can't understand how this book can have 5 star reviews. It's simply boring. Narrator is ok.

I have really enjoyed discovering Tijan. This book, though I’m sure well written this book didn’t do it for me the characters and plot just seemed rather flat
