About this audiobook

Beau McIntyre is driven by a past smothered in blood and covered in bruises. Though tragic, it's helped shape his future and define the man he's become.

Day in and day out, Beau is reminded of his failures in the faces of the women he saves. But what happens when one girl threatens to blow all of that apart? Will Beau lose his grip on the controlled lifestyle he abides by?

Mackenzie Morre is running from a past she needs to forget, a past that has molded her into a woman living in fear. One fateful night, her carefully constructed world is pulled down around her, forcing her to make a decision that she's not sure she can live with. Turning to the Knights Rebels MC for help is the last thing she wants, but everything she needs. Can Beau save her once again, or is what she running to far worse than what she's running from?Contains mature themes.

TRIGGERS: domestic violence, heavy violence, assault, PTSD. Finally finishing this series. Beau is the one I was curious about the entire time. I love that he is involved in helping domestic violence victims get out of their environment. There were hints that something was going on with him in the previous books and now we know. McKenzie is one of those women. She returns to turn and shows up at the clubhouse looking for Beau. Her husband found her location and beat her. All hell breaks loose. There's a lot going on here. Beau goes on the overprotective mode and does everything he can to help McKenzie get through this time. While it does turn into a typical MC romance, there's strong bonds between the MC and their women. It does get a little dark but there's always a little light at the end of the tunnel. Really good book.

Another great addition to the Nights Rebels series. This is Beau and Mackenzie's story.Beau with his brothers have become the saviour of women who are trapped in abusive relationships, and many times have saved their lives. One of the desperate women he meets is Mackenzie. Beau is a quiet guy, likes to keep himself to himself, but Mackenzie is inching her way into his soul. He wants her but does't think she's ready yet for his kind of loving. Mackenzie is drawn to Beau, but can she really trust him with her body and her heart, after all that she has been through.I really enjoyed this story. Beau's cautious towards Mackenzie in their relationship and was wonderful as he had to tone his usual sexual habits down a bit. And Beau does state that he doesn't want to cause any pain with their love games. This is an emotional story very well written. Lots of secondary characters we love, and some who need stories of their own, I'm looking forward to those. 5/5 from me for this one!
