I really liked this book. I started with Jessica Sorensen's Darkness Falls series which was awesome and so far it's my favorite books by her. I'm waiting for the third one to come out :) I decided to read the first Fallen Star book because it was free and I enjoyed her other series so much. It was very different and I wasn't really sure I was into it but the first book left me wanting to know what would happen which I'm glad it did because the second book really got me into the whole series. Each book in her series (actually each book she writes) just seems to get better and better. This was a really fun book to read - very light reading and I had a blast with it.

Same Pros/Cons as books 1&2. This series is action packed but it means characters come and go with very little story development.

Also, just a Gemma final realizes that the reason Alex has been a ridiculous jerk is that he was raisers to hid his true feelings, but really he loves her...their magical electricity is really draining them rather than restoring them the way it did in books 1&2.

One of the things I really appreciate about the author is that she is putting the idea of "loopholes" out as a purposeful construct, rather than "a wow, luckily we got out of that" cheap ending.

    On to book 4.
