About this audiobook

He Never Misses a Target

Jake "the Snake" Sommers earned his SEAL code name by striking quickly and quietly-and with lethal force. That's also how he broke Michelle Carter's heart. It was the only way to keep her safe-from himself. Four long years later, Jake is determined to get a second chance. But to steal back into Michelle's loving arms, Jake is going to have to prove he can take things slow. Real slow . . .

She Aims to Make Him Beg

Michelle Carter has never forgiven Jake for being so cliche as to "love her and leave her." But when her brother, head of the Black Knights elite ops agency, ticks off the wrong mobster, she must do the unimaginable: place her life in Jake's hands. No matter what they call him, this man is far from cold-blooded. And once he's wrapped around her heat, he'll never let her go . . .

Contains mature themes.

This one was the most romantic and funniest of the series so far. I still loving the action and the motorcycles and the background story. The way that the characters are developing into a big family is very interesting.

Rev It Up, book 3 in the Black Knights Inc. series was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between Jake and Shell was smokin'. It was nice to have the hero admit his feelings relatively early rather than the hero deny his feelings until the end. Of course this is because Jake and Shell had some major history. Most of the time books like these are so easily predictable, but I must admit that the author threw in 1 or 2 surprises I didn't see coming. Also, I was a little shocked at how emotional the story got towards the end once everything was laid out on the table between the two. Next is Thrill Ride, Rock and Vanessa's story. I really love how the author intertwined some scenes of their growing chemistry in Rev It Up, setting the stage for book 4. I think I am going to take a little break from the series (gotta catch up on a few other books) but I will be sure to let everyone know how the rest of the novels play out.Mia @ The Muses Circle

Damn, these books are fantastic! I can not put them down! Loved Jake with his Californian slang. Yo and dude are two words that I often use and it's fun to see them used so often in a book. I also like how the author sets you up for the next couple. Gives you a little taste of the chemistry between the two characters. Definitely enjoying these books.

Jake, aka Snake, has returned to homebase after being away for two years and overseas before that. Michele, aka Shell, has loved him before but he pushed her into onother man's arms and she ended up marrying him.

Lies, misunderstandings and surpressed feelings run ariot. I found Schell just a little childish in her stubborness in the beginning chapters but Snake was hot, blonde and sexy from the beginning. He held firm to the truth no matter how painful it was.

Just enough blood and gore, sex and passion, angst and comedy to hold interest high from beginning to end.

Boss, Shell's brother and Becky his soon to be wife hold some key roles in the story as do the new communication specialist and the sexy Cajan.

Not as good as the first 2 in the series and a lot of focus on Rock and Vanessa which is what the 4th book if about...which I found a bit distracting from Snake and shell's story

Reviewed by: JenBook provided by:PublisherReview originally posted at Romancing the BookI have to say, this series is just getting better as it goes along. If you read my review of Hell on Wheels, while I liked the book, there was too much set up and not enough romance. In the book, In Rides Trouble, I think Ms Walker was finally coming into her own with this series by crafting a solid, entertaining read. But with Rev It Up, I couldn’t put the book down. From page one, I was drawn into this story. Ms. Walker has a way of describing the action (and what action it is!) that made me feel like I was right in the middle of all that was going on. From the flashbacks to Jake’s time in the war in the Middle East, to being in the mind of a revengeful stalker, I found myself there… and it didn’t end until the last page. And those pages kept turning because I just had to know what was going to happen next. Were they going to find the stalker before someone else suffered? Was Jake going to finally win Michelle’s heart? There were so many twists and turns and a secondary plot (featuring Rock & Vanessa whom get the next book in the series) that I was very much entertained. I’ll admit that I guessed the bombshell that was dropped well before it was revealed, but Ms Walker’s handling of it was well done. I enjoyed the well-developed romance, loving it as Jake wears his heart on his sleeve and continuously breaks down Michelle’s fortified walls. I came away from this book with just a smidgen of a crush on Jake.If you’re a fan of romantic suspense, I highly recommend this series and I can’t wait for the next one!

And with a secret this hot, there’s bound to be an explosion.REVIEW:Holy crow, this was really good. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did and now I’m cursing the fact that I didn’t read this sooner. Many thanks to Netgalley for this ARC and the chance to review.Ms. Walker has a way with words and gives the reader such an insight into a secretive world. This, of course, is the third in the Black Knights series and it has me going in to buy the first two. Black Knights is based on a group of men who are Navy Seals, the best of their kind, she relays, who build up their own secret defense agency. These boys scream hotness and will have you laughing and crying all at once. Walker has done an amazing job at character building and keeping the reader in suspense until the very end. This particular story was woven with such conflict and a sweet ending that literally left me wanting more.I have to give it to Ms. Walker and her amazing literary ability. She is truly one author you don’t want to pass up. Five out of five stars for a job well done.

Wowza! First off, let me say that the first Black Knight, Inc. book was good but I really enjoyed the second book with the character’s Frank and Rebecca and was worried about how Walker was going to top that. Well, she did! Shell and Jake are wonderful characters! I loved them from the absolute start. Jake ride in dead set on winning back Shell and he finds that it is harder than he thought it would be because Shell wants nothing to do with him besides friendship (if even that.) But then danger comes to town and Jake finds himself willing to lay down his life in order to protect Shell and her son and while doing so, he realizes all the things that he has missed about her. While Shell’s mind knows better than to get attached to Jake, her body still longs for him and while he is assigned to protect her, Shell cannot turn off her feelings. “Rev it up” had me sneaking out to read while I was at work because I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was action all the way though and some pretty intense feelings flying off of Jake and Shell. What really floored me where the surprises that the author threw in that I didn’t even see coming. Readers, you got to tell me if you guessed the secret or not!I cannot wait until the fourth installment (I hope there will be a fourth.) I hope it is about Rock and Vanessa.~BookWhisperer Reviewerer MC~
