About this audiobook

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling series soars to even greater heights with a new prophecy and five new dragonets ready to claim their destiny!

Daring mission... or deadly mistake?

Winter has been a disappointment to his royal IceWing family his whole life. When his sister, Icicle, runs away from Jade Mountain Academy, fleeing terrible crimes and possibly planning to commit more, Winter knows that they both need a second chance to make things right -- if only he can find her.

Winter’s new clawmates, Moon, Qibli, and Kinkajou, won’t let him make this dangerous journey alone. They don’t seem to understand that IceWings, the most superior of all dragon tribes, can fix their own problems. When their search leads the dragonets straight into Queen Scarlet’s vicious talons, Winter is grateful to have some help. But even the bravest dragons can’t follow him to the Ice Kingdom, where he’ll have to face the greatest threat of all: his own family.

Author

Tui T. Sutherland

Tui T. Sutherland & Kari Sutherland are sisters and best friends, and if you can’t tell by looking at them which one is older, Tui certainly isn’t going to tell you. They grew up in South America, traveling a lot and moving several times (and they’re still only about 80 percent certain that their parents weren’t secret agents). Kari now lives in California, while Tui lives in Boston, but they use every excuse they can to see each other (like, say, writing a book together).

This book is still amazing but it's my least favorite Wings of Fire book so far. Never the less it was still a great book. I love the Wings of Fire series it's amazing. Once again Tui dose a great job and Shannon makes it sound mistical. don't get me wrong this book was so detailed and awesome I just don't like Winter's actions. This was still an astonishing book and that's only my opinion as are all the reviews I've made.

It's amazing, all the books really, you get to see each characters perspective for who they really are. You also see their view of other characters and the reasons of the actions they make, their thoughts and actions are so different I always feel compelled to listen to them, especially with their different lives and backstories for example, Winter. An Icewing
dragonet who seemed only rude, but from his perspective just trying to fit in, also you get to see where the characters go and not just see one characters scenery and the people around him as well as seeing the backstory of a little of whom the character knows, from there perspective anyway for example, the side character Dalkstalker, seeming evil in Winters eyes, but a kind, sad, and isolated dragon in Moonwatcher's. Also, T.D. Sutherland's other books are also wonderful. Overall, I love the books and hope it continues

I really love the Wings of Fire series. And I think that this part of the series is about Winter (The dragon not season) and how he saves the world. I mean the first 5 books were about everyone, but it was Sunny who saved the day(the dragon not the sun).

These books are really fun to listen to. I love books on fantasy. I mean who says they are for elementary school kids I am in middle and these books are so captivating that I can’t stop listening.

To me this one was the worst out of the whole series but still an excellent book. It just didn’t appeal to me that much but still, fantastic book. I think some parts could of been better written but I’m just picky. Also I don’t really like some of the plot so that all maybe why it didn’t really appeal to me that much.
