      I’m a fan of Katy Evans’ work, and I did enjoy this title. However, it’s not typical of Evans’ other works. There is no classic HEA, but the plot resolved in a way that was appropriate...I didn’t find the ending to be a classic cliffhanger, as well. I’ve not yet read the subsequent title, but reviews lead me to believe it’s a continuation of this storyline. Narration had a more serious tone than other romances I’ve read, but it seemed appropriate for the theme. Id recommend this book.

      I didn't like it that much. Too unrealistic and too long. And you can't read first book without reading the second one and reverse. Better to skip them!

      I like romance, but this one was on the too sweet side. Too much chumming and it didn't have that spice, that hunf! Good enough read though.

      I love this author's other books, but this story didn't work for me. It wasn't able to keep my focus. There isn't anything in particular that stands out as something I didn't like. It's just that I couldn't get into it so it felt more like work than fun to read. Most people seemed to really like it. Maybe the timing was a factor for me because of already being burned out with this current election.
