He recommended a number of papers as the ones he considered to be the "most important," while later admitting that whoever read that selection would want to continue with the rest as well.

    James Madison, born March 16, 1751, the first of ten children born to a slave owning family in Orange County, Virginia. He grew up to be an impassioned opponent of established religion and advocate of what was then called freedom of conscience. In 1779, Madison was selected to represent Virginia in the Continental Congress and was the youngest member. Madison was highly instrumental in the convening of the Constitutional Convention; he played a key part in guiding the Constitution through the Continental Congress. In 1809, Madison became the fourth President of the United States.

      The Federalist until the name The Federalist Papers emerged in the 20th century.

      The first 77 of these essays were published serially in the Independent Journal, the New York Packet, and The Daily Advertiser between October 1787 and April 1788.[1] A compilation of these 77 essays and eight others were published in two volumes as The Federalist: A Collection of Essays, Written in Favour of the New Constitution, as Agreed upon by the Federal Convention, September 17, 1787 by publishing firm J. & A. McLean in March and May 1788.[2][3] The last eight papers (Nos. 78–85) were republished in the New York newspapers between June 14 and August 16, 1788.

      I love my audible app. I have several conditions as well as chronic pain and some days I just can't move or I need a distraction. On the bad days and plenty of the good too, I listen to fantasy books and imagine having a life inside that book and being swept up in the story. My meds can make it hard for me to concentrate enough to physically read so audible is the next best thing???
