About this audiobook

In troubled times, there is an urgency to understand ourselves and our world. We have so many questions, and they tug at us night and day, consciously and unconsciously. In this important volume Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh—one of the most revered spiritual leaders in the world today—reveals an art of living in mindfulness that helps us answer life’s deepest questions and experience the happiness and freedom we desire.

Thich Nhat Hanh presents, for the first time, seven transformative meditations that open up new perspectives on our lives, our relationships and our interconnectedness with the world around us. Based on the last full talks before his sudden hospitalization, and drawing on intimate examples from his own life, Thich Nhat Hanh shows us how these seven meditations can free us to live a happy, peaceful and active life, and face ageing and dying with curiosity and joy and without fear.

Containing the essence of the Buddha’s teachings and Thich Nhat Hanh’s poignant, timeless, and clarifying prose, The Art of Living provides a spiritual dimension to our lives. This is not an effort to escape life or to dwell in a place of bliss outside of this world. Instead, this path will allow us to discover where we come from and where we are going. And most of all, it will generate happiness, understanding, and love, so we can live deeply in each moment of our life, right where we are.

I am profoundly amazed by the deep humanism, fresh spirituality and Zen philosophy that this humble yet visionary vietnamese Great Master Thich Nhat Hanh teaches to all of us the real secrets of Mindfulness
He has touched me profoundly in my mind body and Spirit. I will never be the same man that started listening to his ideas experiences and acts of bondage forgiveness and expansion
Everything about him is awesome I know that it will take me some time to digest all of it
But from now on I absolutely know that I can be a better human being and yes I accept that nature and the universe are in all us as well as God what a beautiful experience.
A special mention to Edoardo Ballerini for an outstanding way feelings and voice to narrate he is thge best

To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself

This has been such an amazing book for me to read, and I've read plenty of Buddhist books. If you are looking for the opinion of others before deciding on reading or listening, I highly encourage you to do so.

My 1st ever audio book. Amazing experience 100% fruitful. The best of practice and sensable explanation of Buddhism and way of life even if you are not a Buddhist. I'm a hindu but have strong connection with Sikhism. But still find these teachings very similar.

    Life changing!

Much needed inspiration for the world right now. Good insights to apply and helpful learnings. It does provide another way of looking at things and that was helpful to me right now.

If I could only have one book, this would be it. Covers all the basics of Modern Buddhism with an emphasis on Interbeing, the interconnectedness of all things.
