"A Princess in Maine" was a quick read, but being so short there was no character development and the plot lacked detail. Some events, such as the royal wedding, was skipped over, and I didn't think the mystery made any sense. It was only when I finished that I discovered that this was the last book in a trilogy, but it certainly didn't encourage me to read the first two books.
