      Holy crap this was an intense one! Can't wait to read the next book to see how they get their vengeance! Will definitely be interesting to see how the series wraps up.

      "These Ruthless Deeds" is the second in the trilogy begun with "These Vicious Masks." I couldn't wait to read it, as the first book held me engaged and left me on a cliffhanger ending. Someone, this one managed to have even more of a cliffhanger at the end. I almost wish I had waited until the final book was released to read this one. Anyway, the trilogy continues to be intense, funny, and high-energy, and it continues to make good on the promise of "Jane Austen meets the X-Men."

      Soooooooooooo.......this is even better than These Vicious Masks....?

      More action, more superpowers, a more diverse cast (very nice to see), lots of blood (I felt like there was so SO much blood and also a ton of broken bones :D), and more kissing, kind of? Shirtsleeves! More shirtsleeves! And tempting swathes of Victorian man-skin!
