About this audiobook
Like magic, Evelyn's problems start to disappear. Her reputation is repaired, her friends are provided for, and her parents are thrilled at all her new suitors. She's even been reunited with the dashing Mr. Kent and the reclusive Mr. Braddock (who is much less brooding now that the society is helping him to control his dangerous power). Yet, somehow Evelyn can't help fearing that there is something sinister going on . . .
Tarun Shanker
Tarun Shanker is a writer living in Los Angeles whose idea of paradise consists of kung-fu movies, David Bowie and chai tea. Since completing his first horrible screenplay in high school, he's written everything from one-act plays and film criticism to humour pieces and strongly-worded emails. He's also magnetized, crushed and burned the hard drive where that first screenplay can be found. He is the co-author of These Vicious Masks.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Holy crap this was an intense one! Can't wait to read the next book to see how they get their vengeance! Will definitely be interesting to see how the series wraps up.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5"These Ruthless Deeds" is the second in the trilogy begun with "These Vicious Masks." I couldn't wait to read it, as the first book held me engaged and left me on a cliffhanger ending. Someone, this one managed to have even more of a cliffhanger at the end. I almost wish I had waited until the final book was released to read this one. Anyway, the trilogy continues to be intense, funny, and high-energy, and it continues to make good on the promise of "Jane Austen meets the X-Men."
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Soooooooooooo.......this is even better than These Vicious Masks....?
More action, more superpowers, a more diverse cast (very nice to see), lots of blood (I felt like there was so SO much blood and also a ton of broken bones :D), and more kissing, kind of? Shirtsleeves! More shirtsleeves! And tempting swathes of Victorian man-skin!
