- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I think it's my fault for not understanding the synopsis properly.. but I don't like when books just try to explain something with God. Don't get me wrong I believe in God - a higher presence - but i think a book should be for everyone, not just for those religious. I've listened to the first 2 chapters and it felt like it was trying to get me to join a cult.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Boring Christian garbage. It does have it's moments but it's ruined by propagating christianity and god

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved it so much! The stories from the Bible and real life, as well as their lessons, shows a better way to live this Christian life - trusting the Lord!
Thank you for writing this book! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a message God knew we needed.God bless you Max Lucado and Thomas Nelson for being obedient to let out this message.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Certainly plenty of wisdom about the power of prayer, gratitude, facing today with today’s resources, etc to respond to anxiety - and a recognition of the value of counseling and medication - but it still felt a little too “faith will take care of your anxiety!” for my liking.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Outstanding. I was looking for an audiobook to speak to my anxiety. Not only did it speak, it brought the WORD simply and powerfully. I am stronger and Free! Thank you
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent. Simply and necessary for the anxious heart. Especially during this time of uncertainty with the horrible pandemic and the effects of it through which we are living.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5As I always struggle with anxiety, I have read a couple of books on managing anxiety, and this book was my favorite so far! I liked how the author integrated the love for God as a relief from anxiety. As a religious person, I liked finding peace and building a connection with God. However, not only this but there are also other methods of dealing with intrusive thoughts unrelated to religion at all(for those of you who are atheists), such as mindfulness techniques, etc. However, I still believe even though you have read the book, if you want to get something valuable from it, you have to practice at least one of the practices they mentioned in this book, and only then can you realize the importance of this book. Also, there are many stories of real people who utilized the practices from this book and saw immediate results afterward, which gives you hope that you too soon can learn to manage your anxiety, and it will get easier! Just a little reminder for those who suffer from anxiety: remember you are not alone; many people struggle the same as you are; just keep going on no matter what, no pain, no gain, right?
Do you want to regret all the things you could not do because of the anxiety? OF COURSE NO, go for it, even though you are in pain; believe me, you will thank yourself later! At least you will know that you gave your best in this life; for me, it became my purpose to give my best and not regret it in the end! Go for it! I believe in you! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Another masterpiece by Max Lucado. With divine wisdom and dry humour, max dissect the plague of anxiety, which has been troubling humanity from the beginning of time. Masterfully Max dissect, and prescribes the only cure available.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I needed this book today. I find myself in circumstances beyond my control or making, and this book has helped ground my anxious thoughts around the true nature and promises of God. We are not alone, we can take captive every thought, we are loved, there are angels watching over us, there is a purpose for our condition. Rejoice in the Lord and in all things give thanks.
