About this audiobook

Fawn Reed has kissed one too many toads and has finally decided that Prince Charming doesn’t exist. After countless mishaps, mistakes, and unmitigated disasters on the dating scene, she’s decided to give up and move on with her life…solo.

Everything changes, however, after Fawn runs into Levi Fremont, a homicide detective new to New York City.

Dedication to the job has rendered Levi’s love life nonexistent—until he moves in next door to the free-spirited Fawn. After a series of comedic run-ins push them together, will they finally give in to the inevitable and realize—maybe—they are perfect for each other?

(Levi & Fawn): I have missed reading ARR books. This book made me realize just how much. The story is funny, sexy and dramatic. The author gave us a great buildup of characters and an awesome visual in NYC. Fawn and Levi are so magnetic. Fawn is smart and has a big heart, for animals and for her students. Levi is strong and a complete alpha who is immediately taken with Fawn. It's so funny watching the cat and mouse chase between the two, her thinking he only wants her as a friend and him wanting the exact opposite. I loved the story but as someone who hides from her own family at holidays, I cringed in certain areas while laughing my ass off. One thing I wish had more detail was what happened at the end from Levi's POV when he left with his partner. Other than that great start to the series.

I expected a classic 3 star easy read from Aurora but what I got was a laugh-out-loud heroine, a lazy loveable dog and an alpha male who was more laid back.

From the get-go Running Into Love literally lived up to its title. Fawn ran her crazy self straight into Levi and assumed she was being mugged when he tried to help her. Just as she thought she was getting away from his crazy arse, it turns out he's her new neighbour. Not exactly what she signed up for.

Aurora still hit with her insta-love trope and dramatic flare but this was on a must subtler scale and I appreciated that. I loved the family dynamic and how they all got involved plus the added bonus of the additional extended family. I'm excited to see if that goes anywhere and I hope it does.
