First, let me point out that I received a free copy of this work for my inclusion to the author's email list.Matt Rogers has done it again! "Reloaded" is an action-packed, edge of your seat, story about Jason King's retirement from the special operations group. Unfortunately, his past exploits allowed him to be recognized and his former foe has revenge in mind. When bodies begin showing up on the island of Corsica, the special operations group orders a hit on Jason - targeting him as a rogue agent for walking away from the agency several months earlier. Jason has met his equal in the dispatched hitman and then after taking turns of beating each other senseless, they temporarily join forces to stop a corrupt official on the island. Although, not all is as it appears and the activity that is bound to make the official millions poses a personal dilemma to each Black Op soldier. Retirement is not all its cut out to be for Jason King. Now that Jason is leaving a trail of bodies, It's necessary for him to leave his multi-million dollar mansion in the hills and the local bar he owns in town - both have kept him grounded in Corsica. However, he'd already tasted what it's like to be in prison on his last mission, and all the evidence left with the dead bodies all point to him - and there's no way he's going back to prison - nobody will believe that it was self-defense. There is a hint that his next mission may take him to Sweden. I guess we'll see!Only one concern that I have about the story and that is when Jason meets the hitman from Black Ops. There seemed to be a lot of redundancyabout the man's qualifications and comparisons to himself. Phrases and descriptions seemed to pop up in every scene for a while - seemingly, overly excessive. However, that's just me. Overall, great job Mr.Rogers! Keep them coming!John Podlaski, author"Cherries - A Vietnam War Novel" and "When Can I Stop Running?"
