- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This physically beautiful book is a collection of Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday interviews, interspersed with nature photos. She has gathered renowned thinkers, writers, speakers (Thich Nhat Hanh, Diana Nyad, Wayne Dyer, Fr. Richard Rohr and dozens more) who have something to say about our search for meaning and why we are here on this earth at this time. Some people disdain Oprah’s all-embracing spirituality, but here she is promoting our commonalities and celebrating some of the essential aspects of our humanity. In her words: “I believe part of my calling on Earth is to help people connect to ideas that expand their vision of who they are and all they can be.” It’s divided into 10 topics: here’s a few: Awakening, Intention, Forgiveness, Grace and Gratitude. This book is so refreshing and uplifting – it’s the perfect antidote to the daily news.
