      This ninth Aurora Teagarden mystery takes up right after the eighth which was published in 2003. Aurora is recently married to mystery writer Robin Crusoe and they two have just learned that they are expecting a baby. Thoughts of being recently married and expecting a first baby at age 37 would be enough to throw anyone off stride. Add to that the disappearance of Philip, Aurora's much younger half brother, along with two of his friends and a younger girl who had a crush on Philip and you have all the stress any one character should have to bear.Of course, Aurora and Robin are determined to find Philip. Aurora begins investigating and learns all sorts of interesting things before events get even more fraught. Another young girl is found dead behind the beauty parlor. It turn out that she was the girlfriend of Joss who also disappeared. Then Aurora learned that the youngest girl Liza had been the victim of bullying both in person and online. Aurora also learned that another boy, Clayton Harrison, was also missing and that his parents had been asked for ransom for him.Adding to Aurora's stress is the fact that her father and his current wife come to town looking for Philip too. Aurora and her father do not get along at all since she blames his infidelities for ending her parents' marriage. She also blames him for causing Philip to run away from home in California and hitchhike his way to her in Georgia. His wife had also disappeared and apparently couldn't find room in her new life to contact her fifteen-year-old son.This was a small town cozy that felt a little old-fashioned to me despite timely references to online bullying. I think that it was likely because of Aurora's personality and old-fashioned manners that I felt the story seemed dated.This would be a great story for people who remember the earlier Aurora Teagarden books fondly or who enjoy small town cozies.

      Thought I'd try the Teagarden mysteries, since I like so many other if Harris' series. Despite all the similarities, and the nice clip of the plot, this didn't really appeal to me. I'm not sure why, possibly I only like paranormal mysteries?

      Being a fan of the Aurora Teagarden movie series, I was excited to finally find one of the books. However like the later Sookie Stockhouse series, Harris fails to find the characters voice and though the storyline is thrilling, at points it fails to stick with what is happening and tells of some irrelevant scenes, which altogether makes what is usually portrayed as a strong character into a somewhat subdued one. The mystery of the book makes the rating as high as it is.

      Not my favorite from Charlaine Harris. This has a librarian who's stepbrother has moved in with her who suddenly disappears one day along with some other teens. Now it's up to her and the local police to find them.

      This is not the very first mystery series that I started reading years ago when I delved into that genre, but it is certainly the most memorable!

      It has been so many years since the last Aurora Teagarden book (13, I believe) and I can remember when I read the "last book" so long ago that I was saddened because it felt unfinished.
      I wanted to know more about Aurora since she had found her happiness in love and a surprising pregnancy after she believed she could never had children.
      This book did not disappoint! And while Aurora's been having a rough time of the pregnancy so far, it hasn't slowed her down much. Thank you, Ms. Harris, for bringing my favorite librarian/sleuth back so that I could have a glimpse into what her life has been like up to now!

      Let me start off by first saying, I love the Aurora Teagarden series. That being said, I loved this newest book in the series too! I couldn't put it down. I devoured it a day. I really love the characters in this series. Can't wait for the next book.

      All the Little Liars by Charlaine Harris is the ninth book in the An Aurora Teagarden Mystery series. Aurora is back from her honeymoon and is settling into married life with Robin Crusoe in Lawrenceton, Georgia. They are both excited about Aurora’s pregnancy (her library gives her a whole three weeks off for maternity leave). Aurora’s half-brother, Phillip is staying with them. He could not stay with their father and hitchhiked from California to Georgia to get away from him. Things are going well until Aurora gets a call from Beth Finstermeyer. Phillip is out playing with her twins, but Beth has been unable to reach Josh and Joss. Aurora cannot reach Phillip on his cell phone. Then they hear that Liza Scott, eleven years old, is also missing. The four kids were last seen at the soccer field. When the police check the soccer field, they find a body. What happened at the soccer field? Aurora starts asking questions and delving into each families lives. Then they hear that Clayton Harrison, the town’s charming teen bad boy, has disappeared. Is his disappearance related to the other kids? Someone knows the answers, and Aurora is determined to get the answers.All the Little Liars does not fit in with the other books in this series. The book is slow paced and the mystery plays out even slower rate. The mystery can be solved very easily (I was hoping for a real challenge). Aurora being in the early stages of her pregnancy is experiencing morning sickness. We get to hear about her throwing up (in too much detail). It was disgusting and totally unnecessary. I give All the Little Liars 3 out of 5 stars. All the Little Liars felt more like a rough draft, than a finished novel. I found that information was repeated and there are a couple of inconsistencies. I hope Ms. Harris will be back on her game with the next book in An Aurora Teagarden Mystery series.

      What a great return to the Aurora Teagarden world. I have missed Aurora, I was really excited when I saw that Charlaine was adding to her series and when I saw that it was available for review on NetGalley I snagged a copy very quickly. In ALL THE LITTLE LIARS, Aurora is on the case and no one is going to stand in her way of finding her little brother Phillip and his friends. Charaine has always done a fantastic job with her worldbuilding Aurora just has something a little extra about her that makes you want to be in her head and in her story. I find her to be real, down to earth and relate-able. I think her and Robin make a great team. I did forget about some big things that had happened in previous books since it has been so long, but I was easily able to follow the storyline as it was its own instead of an overall continuation of the series. Although I am content if ALL THE LITTLE LIARS ends up being the end of the series, I really hope we get more. I can't imagine Aurora and her world ever getting old to me. * This book was provided free of charge from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

      A must read for the Aurora Teagarden fan ! Aurora Teagarden is back, she's married to a wonderful man, working at a job she loves, and is bonding with her half brother. Life is good for this favorite librarian, until it's not. Aurora is living with new husband and her teenage half brother, after he couldn't live with his parents anymore. Robin her husband is an ideal husband, attentive, loving and communicative. They have real happiness, and more is about to come. Unfortunately, the good news is shadowed by the disappearance of her brother and a handful of other teenagers in town, and when one of the group is found dead things get serious. The police are called, but there is little to find, and Aurora and her husband take investigation in their own hands. Yes she gets herself in a pickle, but now she has good solid backup.I loved seeing Aurora again, and to see her so well situated was wonderful. How often do we get to see a good solid realistic relationship ? I hope there is another book in the future. There was a major life changing event that I want to see happen.
