Amazing beginning but the story deteriorated to the point that it became virtually unreadable.
Moira and Dartayous have such potential as a couple. Their intensely sensual connection and secret yearning for each other is incredible and had me turning the pages for the first half of the book.
Unfortunately, this is when things take a turn for the worse as the plot adopts two elements that I absolutely detest: the heroine loses her free will to the villain and turns into a wimpy mouse, and the villain goes from a despicably evil monster to a poor misunderstood victim in need of redemption - what the hell?!
The characters and story subsequently devolve into a quivering mess. The final confrontation and resolution of the prophecy fizzle out and undermine the build from the previous installments.
There are also numerous spelling and grammar mistakes but at least Donna Grant knows how to write a sizzling sex scene (despite the occasional flowery euphemism).
Will probably continue to see how Lugus copes with being a mortal. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I Loved Dartayous and Moira! They were great together! This was a quick read for me. Kept me up at night!
