About this audiobook

He's no saint.

Jackson "Rowdy" Presley did a dime, and he served his time silently. He could have brought down the real criminals, but instead he took the term and paid the price. Never having loyalty before the Devil's Due MC, he finally has the new beginning he desperately needs.

She's not afraid to call herself a sinner.

Peony Michele Forbes lives her life wherever the wind takes her. She walked away from her past to give herself a future with no restrictions. As much as she wants to forget who she is, others don't want to let her disappear so easily.

However, danger follows her everywhere she goes.

Will Jackson see beyond his jaded connection to Peony and find there is more to life than revenge? When backed to the wall, will Peony let herself trust Jackson to be the one to save her?

Love, hate, anger, and passion collide as the time comes, and the devil demands his due.

Title: Day of Reckoning (A Duff MacCallister Western #7)Author: William W. Johnstone with J. A. JohnstonePages: 304Year: 2017Publisher: PinnacleMy rating: 5 out of 5 stars. In Day of Reckoning, readers will ride along with Duff and his friends as they seek the men who brought death to others and cheated the rope themselves. A neighboring ranch gets raided by a couple of men who leave after they believe no one saw what they had done, but they didn’t count on a witness. While the lady is young, Ina Clare was taught how to use a gun by her father while he was in the military, and she can ride with the best.Meghan, Duff’s lady friend, decides she too will accompany Duff and Ina Clare when they decide to go after the culprits responsible for lawless acts in Wyoming. Duff comes up with a couple of ways to try and lure the outlaws from their current location. But so far it isn’t working, and people are being robbed and killed. Until Duff, with Meaghan and Ina Clare, comes up with a brilliant scheme that fits Duff and Ina Clare’s family history to a tee!I enjoyed this novel very much, finding the various twists and turns of the plot enthralling! I kept turning pages for hours until the very end, and I can’t wait to start the next story with Duff and his Chugwater, Wyoming friends. If you’re new to Johnstone or just haven’t yet read about Duff, make sure not to miss the other fantastic tales from the Old West! The series includes MacCallister: The Eagles Legacy, The Killing, Dry Gulch Ambush, Kill Crazy, Kingdom Come, and Ten Guns from Texas. Note: The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.

Tried and convicted for a crime he didn’t commit, Jackson ‘Rowdy’ Presley, is out for one thing when his name is finally cleared…. Retribution.

With his brothers of the Devil’s Due MC, he learns that the wife he thought was dead for the past ten years is alive, one thing is on his mind. He must get to her.

Michele, thought her husband killed her brother, she ran and hid, believing the worst. She has been in hiding doing the dirty work for the Almanza cartel for the debt that her husband and brother left behind, or so she thought.

This second chance love story is one of forgiveness and moving forward. I love these guys, they are out for nothing but doing right by the people they help. Chelsea Camaron can write great love stories with seriously screwed up crime and punishment intertwined in them. Perfect combination
