Holmes takes on a peculiar case involving Miss Violet Smith, who's life took an unusual turn when two men arrived from South Africa declaring that they had known her recently deceased uncle.

    The pair offer Violet a job as a live-in music teacher, but things go awry when they make unwanted advances on her, and she notices that she is often followed by a strange man on a bicycle.
