About this audiobook
Written with input from director Rian Johnson, this official adaptation of Star Wars: The Last Jedi expands on the film to include scenes from alternate versions of the script and other additional content.
From the ashes of the Empire has arisen another threat to the galaxy's freedom: the ruthless First Order. Fortunately, new heroes have emerged to take up arms—and perhaps lay down their lives—for the cause. Rey, the orphan strong in the Force; Finn, the ex-stormtrooper who stands against his former masters; and Poe Dameron, the fearless X-wing pilot, have been drawn together to fight side-by-side with General Leia Organa and the Resistance. But the First Order's Supreme Leader Snoke and his merciless enforcer Kylo Ren are adversaries with superior numbers and devastating firepower at their command. Against this enemy, the champions of light may finally be facing their extinction. Their only hope rests with a lost legend: Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.
Where the action of Star Wars: The Force Awakens ended, Star Wars: The Last Jedi begins, as the battle between light and dark climbs to astonishing new heights.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Pretty awesome. Fills in a lot of spaces in the story line.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5While it does not fill in a lot of the details of the movie, it does add to it. It definitely makes me want to see the movie again! The narrator was excellent as well!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Don't waste your after. It’s the worst star wars story besides aftermath. Read Revan, Darth Bane or the admiral Thrawn trilogy. More fun, much better characters and stories.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book really enhances the movie. It gives more back story and nuance that couldn't fit in the time of the movie. I highly recommend it for anyone that enjoys Star Wars and wants a little more out of the Last Jedi Movie.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great reader, great writer. However it begins to make me wonder if anyone can ever really return from the dark side. Every victory the resistance has seems hollow, with the next episode showing no progress in their war.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Ok so the movie has a few issues for serious Star Wars fans
Me not so serious but this movie just smacked a little to politically correct but also covered a lot of ground
This book fills in those questions and fleshes out the new characters
Oh and the guy who narrates is fantastic with the voices1 person found this helpful
