About this audiobook
The Theory of Constraints (TOC) has been successfully applied in almost every area of human endeavor, from industry to healthcare to education. And while Eli Goldratt is indeed a scientist, an educator and a business leader, he is first and foremost a philosopher; some say a genius.
He is a thinker who provokes others to do the same. Often characterized as unconventional, and always stimulating a slayer of sacred cows Dr. Goldratt exhorts his readers to examine and reassess their lives and business practices by cultivating a different perspective and a clear new vision.
In his latest book, The Choice, Goldratt once again presents his thought provoking approach, this time through a conversation with his daughter Efrat, as he explains to her his fundamental system of beliefs.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book! I really enjoyed it. A new way to see things
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I believe one of the key Reality checks of a theory is it being recursive. That is applies to itself. ( I sometimes find myself not doing what I tell everyone else to do and that's when the alarm bells go off and I know I am off Track). This book is about how Goldratt applies the TOC to his own life & business. And in fact has set it up as a catch-22 "every situation is an opportunity to learn, every initiative is an exploration". Thus no matter what happens he wins from the interaction. If it fails he gains more knowledge about the system and how it works - he wins. If it works he gains his goal and - he wins. Worth the read just for this hidden gem.As always a light read with a wealth of information and depth that is easily digested and disturbs you more the more you consider the implications.
