- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book even more than the first book. Andrew and Spencer are perfect for each other, but they aren’t perfect people. They make mistakes and blunders, have misunderstandings, but through it all, they figure it out and move forward. It’s wonderful to read about characters who are okay with making mistakes, but act like adults and figure it out.
N.R. Walker has a wonderful writing style that’s easy to sink into and enjoy. Her characters, from the main characters to supporting, feel like real people who I’d love to meet for coffee. The plot was interesting, and although not unique, it was still gripping and had my heart aching for the pain that Yanni has experienced. I definitely recommend this book, but be sure to read book one first in order to truly enjoy the storyline and characters.
The audiobook was delightful. Joel Leslie has such wonderful voices for both Spenser and Andrew, and I quite enjoyed listening to him. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It’s not a bad story. I would have preferred to read it as I am not a fan of Joe Leslie. Unfortunately the e-book is not available on Scribed. There are two chapters where the story is cut off in the middle.
