- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a wonderful description of people who are living lives one can observe and wonder IF they could be like them in many ways. It is written with delightful personal touches as Davis describes her own experience as a FKT in relation to other FKTs she interviews, in depth, for the book. The book reads like a fascinating novel which is even better because it is true.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It was enjoyable, even a bit captivating, to be inside the mind and body of these long distance athletes. The author did a great job putting into words the thoughts and feelings she and the other endurance athletes have. She also did an amazing job detailing their backgrounds and how it impacted their talents. I will most definitely look forward to reading trail based books from Jennifer.
