- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The hard sci-fi weirdness was interesting and worked in skillfully to the plot. The main character becomes more appealing as you peal back the layers of his personality.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A nice mix of hard sci-fi with extensive speculations of what hyperspace travel would feel like to passengers. Throw in a murder mystery and and a torture cult religion into the mix and you will get the idea of the plot. Interesting hard sci-fi descriptions and back stories but character development was lacking and the narrative was bland. It's worth reading though and I recommend it for hard sic-fi fans.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A whodunit, placed on a spaceship traveling at nearly lightspeed. Uses the real concepts of relativity for some nice twists on the plot.
