About this audiobook
The ice planet has given me a second lease on life, so I'm thrilled to be here. Sure, there's no cheeseburgers, but I'm healthy and ready to be a productive member of the small tribe. What I didn't anticipate? That there'd be a savage stranger waiting nearby, watching me. And when he takes me captive, the unthinkable happens . . . I resonate to him.
Resonance means mating, and children . . . but I don't know if this guy's ever been around anyone before. He's truly a barbarian in all ways, right down to clubbing me over the head and claiming me as his own.
So why is it that I crave his touch and hunger for more?
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love this series, the narration is also amazing! I had a theory about who he was in the previous book and I was correct, love the growth throughout.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was another fun read in the series. The story was cute and sweet, I loved the characters-- which was surprising because I did not initially like Harlow in the previous story. She and Ruhk were adorable. I'm enjoying the way the series is progressing. It's a slice of life with a bit of adventure thrown in.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The narrator's accent for the main character is the same throughout the seriea but it certainly is a little annoying. Other than that I loved this book! Aswesome plot twist, the suspense is great and I love the new setting that the majority of the story takes place - showcasing that there is nore than just the snow-ladden caves.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This one was more adventurous then the pervious books in the series and I loved the character dynamics. Steamy like the rest of the series but with some extra plot mixed in.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I ummed and ahhed about reading these books for months, thinking "there's no way these cane be anything but tacky and at least mildly problematic". But here we are, reading about the Not-Hoth version of Tarzan, who, despite barely understanding a word of his native language, has a better grasp on the concept of "consent" than many human adult males I've met. I loved seeing Harlow - another distinct character with her own personality and appearance and history (read: authentic) - take the lead on showing this blue-alien Nell how to be around people. I cannot fault this book.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I can’t stand the female narrator’s voice. Every single book she narrates sounds the same. She doesn’t match the story, the scenes, etc. Also, the author chose to create a parasite that lives in people’s chest. Sorry but this is so gross! The male narrator is great tho!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5So far the weakest book I've read in this series. It's OK but nothing outstanding. I understand the time skip but it felt so abrupt that messed with my flow.
At the very least, I was satisfied because I was very curious about the births and the babies. So there's that. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was 3.5 stars and rounded up to 4 stars
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Love it! It's like a take on Tarzan and Jane, barbarian style! Also loved that it didn't drag on. Its a sweet and short read. Its a good palate cleanser in between long reads.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Near the end i got bored. This book felt like a repeat of the first two in the series.
It explains what happened when Harlow disappeared, and reveals a character to be alive that we thought was dead. But, neither character seems unique and they don't develop personality or realistic motivations For wanting to be together.
We are told Ruke is smart and funny, but we have to take the author's Word for it, cuz we don't see that especially since the skip ahead over a year or two of their lives. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was another fun read in the series. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I'm amused that the story is overtaking the smut, but I don't mind that at all -- good time shifts in this one, moving everyone along by a year in the middle. Loved to see the world exploration (the sea caves) and the continuing relationship dramas. Also loved how this one explores the limits of the cui. Fascinating to see where it goes from here.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I certainly have enjoyed this book, I like Harlow and Rukh and found their relationship adorable. However, I would have loved if we saw more of the females talents. I know this is supposed to be a romantic book, but making them unique would only enchant the experience of reading.
In the end of the last book it was prompted that Harlow is good with crafting and machines, and suddenly in this book all of her capabilities disappeared, she was left as a shell of her previous self. The only thing she cared about was Rukh and fucking.
This certainly annoyed me.
The story itself was lovely and I liked the sweet moments between the couple.
Overall, I would recommend it. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story of Harlow and Ruhk. Harlow is one of the human women abducted by the green and orange-headed aliens in book 1. In this book, her story comes around (and from what's hinted at in book 3) to find an orphaned Sakhui male. He wants her, takes her, and wants to keep her but, dirt is not sexy. Harlow helps Ruhk understand Home Cave and gets him to a little more 'tame' in this story.
