About this audiobook

Veronica Mars meets The Craft when a teen girl investigates the suspicious deaths of three classmates and accidentally ends up bringing them back to life to form a hilariously unlikely—and unwilling—vigilante girl gang.

Meet teenage Wiccan Mila Flores, who truly could not care less what you think about her Doc Martens, her attitude, or her weight because she knows that, no matter what, her BFF Riley is right by her side.

So when Riley and Fairmont Academy mean girls June Phelan-Park and Dayton Nesseth die under suspicious circumstances, Mila refuses to believe everyone's explanation that her BFF was involved in a suicide pact. Instead, armed with a tube of lip gloss and an ancient grimoire, Mila does the unthinkable to uncover the truth: she brings the girls back to life.

Unfortunately, Riley, June, and Dayton have no recollection of their murders. But they do have unfinished business to attend to. Now, with only seven days until the spell wears off and the girls return to their graves, Mila must wrangle the distracted group of undead teens and work fast to discover their murderer...before the killer strikes again.

Amazing and completely crazy... I love Mila so much is an amazing charecther and the fact that the girls come together to work to find who kill them was amazing. But it was predictable!

I love the tone of this book! It was a perfect encapsulation of movies like Heathers and The Craft. I would love to see more books like this one that center on female friendships and witchcraft!

I listened to this book in less than two days and I don't regret it. Mila is a stunning MC and I could listen to her narrative for three more books, haha. So much fun! With enough gruesome bits to keep the magic alive. Would recommend!

I really loved this audiobook! Don’t let the girly cover fool you, this is some dark shit.

I knew something was off with the whole situation but the twist was amazing, I never saw it coming! The characters were all very likeable and you had to love Mila as the POV main character. She was so freaking relatable it was scary.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves YA mystery/thriller.

I thought this was a really good book. I'm glad I listened to it instead of reading it. The narrator was amazing.

Loved this book, with sarcastic, witty narration, a compelling mystery, and an on-point vibe, I was completely consumed. Halloween was the prefect time to listen.

Heard a lot of rave over this book. The friendship theme in this one is solid. The magic however isn't really my cup of tea.

The narrator, Rebecca Soler, is absolutely fantastic but sadly her voice acting is the only good thing about this book. I found the story extremely boring, most of the characters very unlikeable, and in the end I disagreed with the moral of the story that was presented (I totally sided with the "villain"). I wanted to DNF so often but pushed through, and it was a waste of time.

Fun and entertaining. Don't overanalyze and it will be a decent fantastical YA mystery.

This is one of those books where you cannot judge it by its cover. Looking at it, honestly it looks light and fluffy despite its title. But this was anything but. It was dark, creepy as well as being seriously hilarious. It also swears a lot . I started listening to this book on scribd while I was downloading it, it was going to be my audio book for the week, 4 hours later I had listened to the whole thing and now want to buy a physical copy because I loved it so much. It tells the story of Mila who's friend dies and its passes off as a suicide but she knows different so tries to find out the truth by casting a spell that brings her back to life for 7 days, plus everyone else that committed suicide in her high school. I freakin loved it
